If it's that big of an issue you can quit back to the main menu and resume. You'll start back up where the game last autosaved. Usually when you arrived at the new location.

About letting your partner drive, is there certain times where it's like the GTA IV cab system where you can actually sit in the car as he drives so you can go over your notes/clues?

I remember reading that we could but the first time I let my partner drive it just skipped ahead to the spot we were going to.

        Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)

Some of these interviews and responses are straight up bull****. You need to be psychic or something. Facial expressions are awesome but do little to lead you in the right way. And some dialogue that you need to choose if their lying is misleading,

they could say : Yeah yesterday was thursday.
and you know its monday now and say lie and give evidence for it
Then you lose and they say: Detective,I;m tired, dont you have something better to do, Im hungry.

What??? That response has nothing to do with the line of questioning and evidence I used against you.

The more I play, the more linear this game is looking to me. If you dont do it like they want you to, you lose. Comon son.

Its still a good story, but I feel very handcuffed in the gameplay

          Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)

I just ran into a crappy bug. Got in the car to drive to my next case. My partner starts talking about how the D.A. might press charges on "so-and-so", yadda, yadda, they keep talking(won't spoil anymore).

I have no idea what they are talking about, didn't recognize the name that he said. Thinking I had completely missed/forgot part of the story already I look the persons name up on the LA Noire Wiki hoping that it will jog my memory. WTF! They were talking about one of the pre-order DLC cases that I haven't even touched or been able to redeem since the PSN store is down.

Had to actually go to a Gamestop to get this one. Best Buy and Target sold out, and I got the last one that wasn't preordered at Gamestop. About to go play.

You must be on the first interrogation as a beat cop. I struggled like hell with that too.

Don't worry, from what I've seen it's not like that further into the game.

lol that was annoying too. But I just finished Fallen Idol (psychic watson) and I was just getting frustrated with this girl who punked the crap out of me. But yeah it was all worth it for the climax of that case.

I still hold firm that some susects are annoying as hell to try and read

its not always about catching people in a lie.. its about getting info

shed some doubt on them sometimes, dont just call em all straight out liars

You even have to do that to some of them that are truthful

What that does though is open up dialogue, which is better for you

Only call them liars if you have the evidence to back it up.

Exactly, so if she's telling you yesterday was Thursday, and you don't have a calendar on you to prove otherwise, you'll get screwed by accusing her of lying.

I think this is just a case of me having to get better at deciphering clues and reading people. I know about calling them liars with evidence but sometimes it feels like that should have worked. IDK I just hate the sound that plays when you choose wrong.
