I'm not talking about replaying a case for a higher rating, I mean actually progressing. Some of them are actually pretty long and involved, and If I had to repeat

I'd have thrown my controller through the TV by the third try.

Or, if you're just going to load up a save file from just before you game over'd, what's the point? At least with the way this game handles your mistakes, you don't have to actually repeat any non-action scenes in order to get through the game (except maybe that very first interview which is sort of a tutorial to the whole process).
No. How about if they made the storyline more dynamic so if you mess up case A it makes case C harder later in the game or something. I don't know what they should do, I'm not a developer nor am I as creative as one.

Like I said before in one case I missed every question in an interview(accidentally) and the game was like "Oh you messed up huh? Well here's this vital piece of evidence that we had in our back pocket just in case. Now go ahead and get this 1 question so you can get this conviction even thought you were 0 for 5 before this." And I'm sitting there like "Wow. What did I even do all this investigating for if they were just going to give me the biggest evidence at the end for no reason?"
It's like studying for hours the night before a test, you get to class the next day, fail the test, then the teacher gives you the answer key and tells you to erase your mistakes.

Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

That kicked ***. Its nice to see L.A circa '47 recreated so well. I also wish more games recreate cities in games.

Actually you get rated for each case in the game so it's more like here are the answers, you get an F but you still pass the class.

I agree that they should have branched out the story line so that your decisions have consequences (other than the ratings), but I don't see what they could have done if you were to fail every case in the game.

Maybe they could have done something like Mass Effect, and added a "good cop" or "bad cop" personality. Depending on your actions during the game, you could lean towards either side which would unlock different methods of interrogation.

It could be like inFamous where depending if you were a good or bad cop, people on the streets would praise or fear you. Each side would have its own advantages and disadvantages and maybe even alter the ending.

You can arrest the wrong guy on this game though right? Bc last night I had 2 diffrent guys I was interviewing back at the police station. After I interviewd the 2nd guy It asked me if I wanted to arrest him or not? I had missed alot of the questions for the case and after I choose to I got chewed out by my boss.

True you have a choice on who to arrest, but ultimately the only thing it affects is your case rating. The overall story line remains unchanged.

It will be cool to see what type of mods come out of the PC version.

Lol this is one of the reasons I stopped enjoying the game.

I'm not big on playing games for high scores and the story wasn't that good IMO (Heavy Rain ruined stories for alot of games; they set the standard)

Gonna be short and sweet here.
I am playing this slowly and surely, as i do with all games, and I am LOVING it.

                    - The faces! wow.

                    - It's right up my alley with the slow pace. I get anxiety-ridden playing games like COD. Taking my time and soaking it all in has been fun.

More to come the further I go.

I bought the Rockstar pass when the first DLC was released and I played through it. Now I have no desire to download and play the new case though even though I already have it thanks to the pass.

haha thats exactly what I was thinking the other day. I could DL the cases, but don't even want to play anymore. I don't know what this game did, but it hasn't drawn me back at all since I finished it. I stopped doing the street crimes mid-homicide desk.

So you've lost intrest in playing the game just not running a message board thread about the game and bashing it everyday?

Does it upset you that I voice my opinion on a message board that's intended for people to voice their opinions on games? I agreed with another poster. So what bud.
