Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Played about an hour or so of this last night. So awesome. I got passed thie first section and now have a suit on. One question, what is the difference between the doubt and lie option in questioning? They seem like they mean the same thing to me. If I'm doubting a suspect I'm thinking he's lying. No?Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Been a long while since I've played this, but I believe doubt is just hinting at a person lying, while lie means you're actually accusing them. The gameplay difference is that you must present evidence when you accuse someone of lying.Played about an hour or so of this last night. So awesome. In Phoenix Wright terms, Doubt would be "Press" and Lie would be "Objection!" if that helps.

Well most of this post screams "greek to me". But I think the blolded part seems to make sense. So choose lie if you have evidence that proves it, choose doubt if you think they're lying but have no evidence. ? Also does using an intuiton point cost me stars, or whatever grading system it is, when I complete a case? that's two questions now, I guess.Been a long while since I've played this, but I believe doubt is just hinting at a person lying, while lie means you're actually accusing them. Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Picked this up again, but on 360 this time. I've been feelin' another play through and I haven't played it since the week it released and I'm almost to the Vice desk again.. really fun game.
My stupid *** almost bought a Law and Order SVU game instead, but I knew this game was gold so It was worth the $17Comment

Homicide desk is still one of the best game play experiences I've ever had with a game.

Totally agree. The twists and turns were amazing during those cases. I was like the first time I played Heavy Rain. If they are able to recreate that with the rest of the game, with L.A. Noire 2, whoa."If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Want to pick this up again.
I had played this up until the very start of the last desk, and my PS3 crashed, wiping out everything.
Unfortunately, someone spoiled the ending for me, so I don't know if it's even worth the time to play through again.

I'd play it again just to listen to this while chasing down a suspect...

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Im sure it's worth it. I made sure that I kept this game just for the historical landmarks and different things around the city, to see what it used to look like in a sense in alot of areas.
I did beat the game although I don't remember finding all of the landmarks so if I want to do it again I need to start over. At some point I hit a cold spell in those interrogations though

Agreed. The sound design in that game was absolutely fantastic.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles
