Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
I don't usually buy non sports games but my last non sports game was by Rockstar and this one is a definite so there's that
I tell you Rockstar is one developer that doesn't rest on its laurels. Their competition tries to catch up but by the time they do Rockstar has brought something different to the table.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Buying any Rockstar game from here on out.
Looking forward to any new information we can get. I'm sure the game will look nothing like the early trailers and be even better. Similar to how the early RDR trailers are unrecognizable to the actual game.Owner, Spear Interactive

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
this game is going to be pure gold.
And for whomever was asking, the game has a September release date for this year.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
This looks so freakin awesome. God I wish I had more time for gaming... I want to finish RDR but I can't bring myself to even turn it on because I end up just running around doing nothing most of the time and never progress the story ha.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
According to what I have heard its a sandbox game.
Im not sure though how much it will replicate RDR or GTA because its cut and dry, your the "law" or good guy in this game, so its going to be interesting how they handle the user running through crowds of people, etc and not have a wanted level and things like that. In GTA and RDR there was still "order" but if your a cop, they cant arrest you and then have it be part of the game and 2 seconds later your at a crime scene. should be interesting.Comment

Yeah, and you are a detective and being a detective is supposed to be a huge part of the game correct? Apparently, looking for clues, and interviewing witnesses and suspects and such is supposed to be very original.According to what I have heard its a sandbox game.

Of course, we haven't seen a second of gameplay though. With that said, do you guys really think this game is coming out this fall?Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
I think it's time Rockstar developed an open world game that allowed the user to create themselves or atleast give us some ethnic presets to use. This may not be ideal for this game as a black police detective during the 30's or 40's in LA possibly never existed or was very rare givien the racial climate of that time. It would be cool every once and awhile to have an option like that though.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Every GTA character outside of GTA has been ethnic correct? GTA Vice City: Italian, San Andreas: Black, GTA 4 had Niko whatever he was, and the spanish guy. They are pretty diverse with their line up.I think it's time Rockstar developed an open world game that allowed the user to create themselves or atleast give us some ethnic presets to use. I agree tough that we should be able to create ourselves. They kind of did it in Saints Row which was cool.Comment
