Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
While GTA IV kept me going, playing Red Dead was like drinking an entire bottle of nyquil. I just couldn't stay away and found the game to be boring. It was a shame too, because I really enjoy western movies.
Hopefully the crime scene holds up better, but from the trailer so far I'm going to say my hopes aren't as high as some.
Just my $.02

Wow. I almost forgot that was a video game. That looks amazing.
Can't wait. I love anything Rockstar does.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Red Dead is my favorite game on this generation of consoles. Maybe ever.
Anyways, this looks fantastic. Definitely a day-one buy for me. I like Mafia II a lot, but this looks like it might end up blowing Mafia away.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
The story in this game is going to really pull you in and be amazing. We've never had real actors in a game like this before that wasn't a cutscene.
I'm predicting barring some game killing glitch or gameplay mishap, this game will be groundbreaking. Not just because of the tech but what the tech brings to the player.

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
This game looks amazing. I have a ton of respect for Rockstar as they really go out of the box and expand genres. I'm a huge fan of Film Noir and detective movies so this is right up my alley.
The guy that was being questioned about the life insurance stuff, he looks familiar to me though I can't put my finger on it.
Anyways while I can never ever complete these sandbox games (I almost got to the end of GTA IV) I still enjoy them quite a bit. This will be a day one purchase for me.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
So they used the real faces of the actors? That is awesome."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
I watched the trailer a couple of times just to watch the facial animations
. I hope this does not get delayed.
If they can pull off the whole film noir / detective theme and have it not just be GTA in 1940's Los Angeles this game could be amazing
.
