Yeah, that's my vote too. Bioshock was just an amazing experience. The Orange Box is an exeptional value. Hard to choose.

Ncaa 08. I haven't played a game more this year.

R6: Vegas. Loved the single player and had countless hours of fun online with the guys here....even if CJ's bail out incendiary grenades were cheap.

Graw 2. I loved the SP so much that as soon as I finished it, I cranked it up to the highest level and played it again. I also loved online, but I think it turned some people off because it wasn't 'run 'n' gun'.

The best is still to come...

All 3 are great games. I too have been playing NCAA religiously.

College Hoops 2k7 is my favorite sports title of all time, so I'm sure 2k8 will be the best when it comes out for me.

I never get tired of the GRAW series either.

BioShock. I'm still going through this one, but I'm having a lot of fun every time I can squeak some gametime in.....in between games of The Show.

Honorable mention: Madden 2008, NHL 08 and NCAA 2008 are all three stellar next-gen titles. Great job this year EA Sports!

Madden 2008:

I know a lot of people have thought that it was a disappointment and I consider it missing some features I like to be disappointing (such as in-game subs, formation subs, etc.). However, IMO it's probably the best Madden in a while. I have had no bs plays on either side of the ball and for once I'm happy to see that the CPU is actually willing to put together drives instead of having a big play or two account for their scoring. And this is for the PS3 version and if the XBOX360 was more reliable there's no doubt I would've had that version just to have the game play a little bit smoother.

I may be the only one in OS that still plays it, and I'm toughening it out in a time full of glitchers (and succeeding as well). I still have a blast each time I pop this game in. I have yet to run into anyone on OS in the game, but I hope they can fix the minor problems in the game. I'm looking forward to the next update and packs.

Heavenly Sword:

Short!? I don't give a hell. Back then I could finish games within hours so the length of this game didn't bother me. But the graphics were outstanding. There's many reasons for me to love this game.

Lastly, the game I had been looking forward to this season and what made me want to go next-gen:

I also have the PS2 version that held me over until this one came out and htis game didn't disappoint. IMO there is a big difference between the PS3 version and the PS2 version graphics wise. All those screenshots people saw and who judged the game as "last-generation graphics" are looking to standard definition lenses. I had played the game in SD and it looked like the PS2 version, but once I got it hooked up to an HDTV, it looked a LOT better. I haven't even mentioned the gameplay, which was terrific.

I'm gonna have to go with Halo 3. When my friends and I get together to play its always a blast. We had fun with Gears, but it was only to hold us over until Halo 3. LANing is phenomenally fun especially with the custom game types and trying out each others forge maps. I personally also enjoyed the campaign.

I would not doubt however that Mass Effect takes the title for me though when it releases.
