TO each thier own. Its all opinion, just because a T.V. show has the same result doesn't mean its the right answer, just that you agree with them. AS is always the case with these type things, there are people who agree and those that disagree. Who is to say one is right and one is wrong. IMHO I would put Mass Effect there, but thats just me. Doesn't mean I am right, Everyone else is wrong, or anything else than this year I enjoyed that game more than any other I played.

I would put Bioshock near the middle of the pack, With games like Assasin's Creed ahead of it. I did like Bioshock, but the low difficulty made it feel unrewarding..you could just run & gun over & over till you got the enemies health down, no strategy required, Yeah U could use some, but without it you had same result.

Once again only my opinion, but A GOTY should challenge you & pull you in. I thought Bioshock just didn't do that to me. But again its only my opinion, so If you wanna believe otherwise go ahead, I won't mind, hate, or even disagree with what you think. I always hate when people try to tell me what to think. Just because they like a specific game, everyone has to and anyone who disagrees is commiting Blasphemy

Well that world premiere for R6V2 was a waste of time. I think that Gamestop sign was on their longer than there was a CGI movie of the game.

Madden as best sports game? Incredible...

Certainly in my opinion Madden was the least deserving game on the list of nominees of any sort of award (I've personally never played Winning Eleven but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt).

I definitely thought Mass Effect should've been GOTY and best 360 game. I've always loved Halo, and still do. But for some reason, I just have to think that COD4 was a better multiplayer game. Damn that was hard to admit...

Also, your contridiction yourself when you put AC over Bioshock then say that Bioshock was easy. AC is tons easier. I can kill 50 guys at a time and not die.

Just watching the replay now and wow, I just have to pile on to Madden 08. Team Sports Game of the Year? I've never seen more people upset with a major sports franchise as people have been with Madden this year. they have released two (that I can think of) patches for the game and released it to the public in a beta test like stage! That award is so wrong in so many ways, I just had to laugh and comment on that one.

The Simpsons game was pretty much the only DEFINITE, no argument choice out of all the categories, IMO.
