Anyone play the original Ghostbusters on the NES? I still remember climbing up all those damn floors.

You had to tap the buttons as fast as you can. This was before I could get a turbo controller.

I never owned the game, but my best friend did. I used to borrow it from him all the time. The game was frustratingly difficult.

That video of ghost busters looks amazing.

Considering it might have been vaporware, I suspect the game might not be that good.

But it looked fantastic. I hope they do a good job with it.

So are 80's movies being made into games going to be the next trend, like comic books and 80's toys being made into movies? If so, I can't wait for an RPG Karate Kid, a Sims-like Breakfast Club game, or a Predator FPS.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Revenge of the Nerds and Gremlins came to mind for me because they were both playing at the theater when I saw Ghostbusters. But you're right, a lot of movies from that era would seem to offer at least something for a game, and what with most of us being children of the 80s and 90s, there would seem to be a good batch of nostalgic money for companies to make.

A Karate Kid video game would be nice. Moving the left thumb stick left to right, switching to the right thumb stick and moving it left to right to wax the car would be the greatest single player mission ever. But of course, there should be a mode that allows you to play as the Cobra Kai guy and SWEEP THE LEG!

Anyway, can't wait for this game. I'll be tickled to death if you can drive around in the car at all. Plus, setting up the trap is going to rock.
