I'm actually pretty excited about this game now.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

Apparently Signorny Weaver declined being in the game but when she heard that the Original cast were reprising there roles she tried to get on board but it was too late. Kinda sucks but they got the 4 people who matter...My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

The Graphics look darn good. Nice to see that they worked on that aspect quite well. Man Slimer looked like a handful!
Too bad Sigourney Weaver turned down the project but at least we get Alyssa Milano insteadMember of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Ghostbusters....Yea, we're back!
I Guarantee that Activision is kicking themselves in the Butt for letting go this game. Forget the fact that this game will sell excellent at launch, When GhostBusters 3 Comes out, they will be able to get the people who saw the movie but didn't get the game.
All I know is there better be a Midnight Release for this Cause im playing this game straight through until i Beat it.My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Kinda funny someone mentioned Ghostbusters. My friend had brunch with Dan Akroyd last week and he told my friend to look out for Ghostbusters 3 the movie. Not sure if I will play the video game, Ghostbusters on the C64 was enough for me.Last edited by e0820; 04-07-2009, 08:47 AM.Comment

IGN: Progress Report
Sadly, that's where my demo for Ghostbusters: The Video Game ended. It was by far the most I have gotten to play of the title, and it was nice to see it all in context. Zapping and trapping is still fun -- Am I the only one that is thrilled you pick up your traps after catching spirits? -- the action looks really good, and I'm excited to see where the story is going. Sure, the Times Square slowdown was cause for pause, there were a few times when I was just waiting around for an NPC to say something and advance the scene, and I still worry 'busting ghost after ghost could get repetitious, but the fact remains that this was a preview build of the title and that there's a ton of Ghostbusting I haven't seen. We've all been burned by franchises we love coming to the videogame arena, but Ghostbusters: The Video Game is looking solid and provides plenty of reasons for fans to get excited.
