Playing offline is great with the team, when you get used to it! Set them up at a door, use the snake cam to mark their targets, then move yourself to a 2nd door for a multi position breaching of the room. Lots of possible strategy (guys coming down zip lines while you do other things), part of the game I really enjoy.

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion
I'm also really digging that team leader mode. It's an interesting mix of strategy while you protect your leader, while at the same time hunting the other team's leader, while at the same time protecting the extraction point, while at the same time trying to reach the other team's extraction point. Lots to keep track of and lots of ways to play it....should lend itself to a lot of replay value.
Can you go into more detail about this mode? Sounds like a lot of fun.
So are the rooms 16 or still just 14?
Can you rank up in private matches?
Hope to see you all online tonightComment

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion
I'm so glad they didn't mess with a good thing when it comes to this game. Since the core mechanics of the game are largely the same as the first version, it seems like they concentrated their efforts on map design this time around and it definitely shows. I'm really impressed with the maps so far - none of them feel imbalanced, none of them feel mis-sized, and they're all very different from each other in terms of look and feel.

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion
Im kinda disappointed with the audio and the graphics though, they could've been better imo. Also Altimus flat out own'd me last night, he kept getting me with those damn incendaries...but dont worry GT, ill get you back tonight.Oh and about the extra maps, how do you get Streets? because when i go to extras i only see exclusive content, which you have to sign up for a Ubisoft account.

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion
I got so owned in that level at one point... after my team secured all three points I was at C in that little closet defending. Moments later someone went down the ladder, fell on me it seemed and shot me in the head. I never even knew there was that access hatch above me.Comment

You can definitely rank up on private matches, this game is such a blast and im glad i opened my copy. I was seriously thinking of returning it and waiting for the new COD maps, what a shame that would've been. Great games last night too fellas, only think was i kept getting lagged out you guys had to send me invites every 10 minutes LOL.

I knew i was going to get someone because they kept shooting at me and i seen the red laser so i just let one out.XBL: DTX3

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion
Yeah the graphics are nothing to write home about, but it doesn't matter that much.
I am sure once I really sat down and start to play I will enjoy this. I mean I loved the first Vegas, so I don't see why I won't this one. I was just underwhelmed when I first popped it in.
Can't wait to play with some OS guys. Vegas 1 was a blast with nothing but OS'ers.Comment
