Closing Comments
While Deus Ex: Human Revolution can't be the revelation that Deus Ex was in 2000, it's an achievement nonetheless. It's a visionary, considered piece of work, and while my thoughts drift to the things that could have been and the compromises made due to the possibilities of video games in 2011, they're just as quick to consider playing through it again. Human Revolution is a smart, rewarding piece of transhumanist noir that does justice not just to Deus Ex, but to the fiction that inspired it.

IGN gave the 360 version a 90. Here is the article. Mr.Price's post is the closing comments from that review. The only real complaints I saw in the review were being forced to kill bosses, some minor issues with the voice acting, and the faces of some of the NPC's looking weird. Personally I could care less about the boss thing, considering there are only 4 in the whole game and the other two things are incredible minor. If those were the only complaints, I am actually surprised they didn't give it an even higher score.

Hmmm didn't notice that at first. I guess the blue text should have given that away.

Anyways, I completely agree. I was already going to pick up regardless of the reviews, but the game really must be great considering how minor those complaints are. I did find it strange that the review didn't go into detail about the A.I. considering the type of game this is.

I think he just ran out of space, to be honest. IGN has tried to limit their wordcount. Arthur is pretty thorough, so I don't think it was something he overlooked. You might want to check out the podcast Rebel FM this Friday, as they will go pretty in-depth, beyond what the written review can provide.

The most interesting parts can’t be discussed here, because they’re yours to discover. And really, discover them you should. Despite its obvious visual console shackles, this is a game that remembers what PC games were once all about, and honours them. It’s a refreshing reminder of what games can be in the current swamp of six-hour follow-em-up shooters, and stands shoulders, chest and waist above. When games get close to the glory of Looking Glass, our expectations can rise extremely high. That Deus Ex: Human Revolution meets so many of them is a remarkable feat.

1UP gave it a 100/100 or A rating according to their scale , and state that it is the best stealth action game since Metal Gear Solid. The only complaint they really mentioned was boss battles, but they basically said what I did in my last post, that there a so few of them that it doesn't detract from the rest of the game. According to metacritic the game is averaging around a 90 between the three versions.

Also, according to the IGN reviewer the PS3 and 360 versions are functionally identical.
