The MP40 jumps around on me too much. I prefer the Type 100 with the new sight.

Only reason why i dont use it. I'm a STG-44 guy myself.

Just had the best 2 games I have ever had and they were back to back. First one was 22 / 0 (K/D Got 6 kills early and got in a tank and kicked butt till the end). Next game was in the asylum and went 17/2.......2 games and 39/2

I like the STG-44, but I seem to lose too many close encounters when I am using that weapon.

What perks do you use with it?

I use bouncing betty, camo, and martyrdom.

You dont show up on the radar if you have camo, and yeah bouncing bettys are sweet!

I also lose some close encounters with the STG, the clips are small for the gun but thats when the pistol comes in handy.

So if you have the silencer on, you don't show up when you shoot but a recon plane will still show you on the map. If you have the cameo (no matter if you have a silencer or not) you don't show up on the map at all? Or You show up if you shoot, but not with a recon plane?

You still show up when you shoot with the silencer on, with the camo you dont show up on the map when you shoot(atlease thats what i think).

I use the STG a lot. It is a great gun. I personally like it silenced on larger maps. You will not win close up battles that often with it, it just is not that type of gun, but you can pull some off with good strafing and hip shooting.

I have heard that if you don't run, you won't show on the map.

The silencer keeps you off the map when you shoot..so no one can see you when you shoot at them. This is reliable, because I have many times ran into a room of 3 guys and shot all of them, w/out any of them knowing where I was.

Once the Recon plane gets you, you show up, but I think it just shows where the recon saw you. I usually backtrack or GTFO when a recon plane hits.

You do? I thought with the silencer, you didn't show up when you shoot, but you show up with recon. I figured with cameo you don't show up no matter what. I am not sure though.

What do you mean? Doesn;t the recon show you on the map no matter what though? So cameo doesn't show you on the map at all?

What's the advantage and disadvantages of using a silencer? Distance, accuracy etc...?

What i meant to say is when you have a silcener you still show up on the map with a recon plane, not when you shoot. With camouflage you dont show up no matter what. Using a silencer makes your gun less accurate i believe.

no, if you shoot with a silencer, you won't show up on the map when you shoot. That is why I use a silencer and camo perk......so I don't show up on the map at all.
