Given that knowledge...I doubt I'll ever finish the single player.

well that's one reason I haven't picked it back up yet. I posted some of my impressions on the veteran difficulty a page back or so. I hate to whine, but I've also beaten CoD 2 and 4 on veteran, and Treyarch just made it much more cheap than past games.

2 and 4 were some what fair even though the grenade fest and respawns. 5, just cheats. One thing if grenades fly everywhere, another if there are just grenade mines every step you take forward and backward. Instant kills.

I didn't mind it on regular and it was rather easy to beat, didn't even bother on veteran due to everyone saying how it cheats.

On regular I thought the AI teammates did decent. But on Vet many times as I pushed forward, the AI teammate would just see it as, okay move to the next point and leave stranglers behind which would kill me.

plus I even saw on numerous occasions how your A.I. allies would just let enemies run by them to kill you. It kind of ruins the game when you see crap like that.

Exactly. Stuff like this isn't a challenge or difficult, it is just frustrating.

I love the COD series, always have. But sometimes I wish they would at least turn off infinite enemy spawning. It just isn't realistic if a 100 guys run out of a single bedroom just because I haven't moved to a certain point yet. Hopefully for 6, they find a happy medium somewhere.

That's weird. I never had a problem on SP with that. It always saved at checkpoints or whenever I decided to "save & quit."

This was my first Vet experience with a CoD game and it was rough. The constant grenades were the worst part. Playing Vet on CoD 4, which I'm doing now, hasn't been nearly as bad.

had a great online game - wen't 18-3 and some dude sent me a mssg saying "grow some nuts and come outside"

I snipe about 75% of the time in cod games, and will sometimes camp in a spot, but this time I was all over the map because I find on 'hangar' even if you're sniping you simply have to move a lot.

People assume that just because you snipe a lot, that you stay in one place for the whole 10min or whatever it is and it really bugs me how people get pissed if you don't play the same way they do.
I try not to die, and try not to be seen and pick people off w/ headshots.
These people act like it's unsporting to use a sniper even though they were included by the people who made the damn game.

Its for reasons like this I think MS should think about removing the feedback ratings because it's abused bigtime.

LOL isn't the point of these games to stay alive and get kills? Who cares how you do it. As long as you aren't cheating and taking advantage of the game by glitching or whatever...I say who cares. Keep sniping them.

                            Sniping is tough to me.

I've been playing hardcore the last few days, I am trying to unclock everything and that is the only way I will be able to using a sniper.

I also really don't care if people camp or not.

I am with you as camping as never bugged me because it is basically ambushing which is a tactic. If people want to run around not paying attention of their surroundings then expect to be killed. Too many people want the kill right in front of them.
