I feel you bro. But you can always get it when you have some time, and compete for fun.
I guess with a name like Grandmaster, you got a lot to live up to.

I didn't give this man Grandmaster status to see him quit. *Shakes head in shame*

Give up the comics Born, and join the tournament circuit in honor of the title Grandmaster.

Ya'll a bunch of fools. In truth, I haven't played this game two days in a row since last June. I thought my schedule would open up, but it did the OPPOSITE, haha. Hopefully I can come back within the year and show some folks around here what I'm like when my game is sharp.

I am thinking about using him as well. Just got back to playing the last few weeks, and I started using Guile. Never been much of a charge player, but it feels good to start getting the execution down.

Started getting back into this in preparation for Super. I think my lineup for SSIV will probably consist of Gief/Balrog and either T Hawk or Hakan. Getting some more practice in with Gief/Balrog. Anyone want to get some matches in? I play on both 360 and PS3.

Re: Street Fighter IV/Super Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)

Played this at Wondercon in San Fran this weekend. It's hot. I used mostly Makoto. I thought it'd take me a good two weeks to get used to the stick, but after about 45 minutes, I got at least 60% of what I used to be able to do on the pad going on the stick, which was enough to win some matches against the local talent. My first matches on the stick were ROUGH though. Using Chun didn't help,

Makoto has some good, some bad. Her grab is fast, but the range is NERFED! Her low short into dash punch works, her low strong into dash punch is great. Her focus attack looks effective and her fierce>dash punch works in places. She appears to have NO jump in and there *seems* to be a vicious pause after her dash, so you can't dash>grab, or dash>short>dash punch. But she seems to have some potential. No more grab traps at first glance though.

They say Rufus' damage is nerfed, but I can't tell. He still seems pretty damned powerful. Word is his new ultra is useless, but considering he had arguably the best ultra already, no one was going to switch unless the gave him the absolute best ultra as a substitute.

Sagat has some new move where he psyches himself up, and after that his next Tiger Uppercut is more powerful. Sagat really needed more damage? Hmph.

Chun's new super looks better than her old one in some ways. It's safer but WOW does it do no damage at all. I think Ryu's character model actually chuckled when it landed.

Didn't see too much of the other new characters outside of the animations, which all looked great. I held back partially because I didn't want to get big by the bug, and partially because I was there to do sketches and sign books.

                      It was hot though.

                      Tough time to be retired.

                      Real tough.

I really hope the connection online is improved. Can't stand lag. I usually play late at night, and most of the people I play have 1-3 bars. Sometimes I will get a four bar connection which is pretty good. I really wish I could play some people around here though.

I am loving the online game modes. Endless Battle, and Replay theater, for only $39.99?

Yeah, I have the date on my Calendar circled.

                              HA! Wish I could.

Off Topic-- My response was going to be: "Do a search for 'Nelson Blake' and 'Magdalena' and you'll see why I can't unretire." Then I did the search myself and I was shocked when I saw this

a)It's so weird to see pictures on the internet that you didn't know were taken.

b)I had no idea that many people had collected around me. Whoa!

That's awesome man. Looks like things are really picking up.

Don't listen to these guys. You're retirement just means a new Grandmaster will emerge. The question is...

                                ...who will it be?
