I'm pretty sure this will work better in motion. The proportions are very similar to the art style that we saw in Street Fighter III, based on the designs of Capcom legends Bengus and Akiman. Before we judge, we need to see the tall, short, muscular and female characters for contrast. Here is what I can tell from the pics, as an SFIII fiend:

That shoryuken looks a lot like Ryu's three hit super from SFIII. Good news for Ryu fans. Ryu looks like he's blocking in the air. There is no telltale blue glow, but we might be looking at him parrying. God oh God do I hope parrying is in this game.

I think they said the parrying system for SFIII will not be in this version. That stinks because I became great at parrying. I killed cats with Urien and Alex. Those were my guys. I guess I have to go back to using Guile and Charlie. However If Adon is in there I can rake with him as well.

Can't wait for this game! My wife wants me to get a 1 on 1 fighting game for my ps3 because that's pretty much the only type of game she likes and as far as i know this is the only decent title of that type in the works / available?
