Bioshock 1 vending machines have me brainwashed.

The 'Circus of Values' machines dont play the sound in this one but every time I come across one, I end up doing the voice and laugh.

Too funny dude. That sound is ingrained into my brain the same way the 'Ice Cream Man' music is. Will always know what it is when I hear it. Need a mod for it to play throughout the entire game

Only got to play the first hour or so but the intro does a good job of throwing you right back into Rapture. Can't really compare to the first time from Bio 1 when your jaw was on the floor but it does feel cool to be back.

The new hacking system already might make the sequel better than the first. I hated the old hacking and the new one is just simple, easy, and quick. The drill is great and you really feel like a Big Daddy.

Not sure how the antagonist will hold up. So far she can't hold a candle to that miserable Andrew Ryan. I'm hoping a rumored snow storm will let me get some serious time with this game this week.

I'm playing thru the first one now, and when I finish it I am going to try to pick this up.

I just picked my LE up, the Gamestop people made a mistake and ordered the PS3 versionf or me when I wanted a 360 version, hopefully there aren't any bugs or errors that plague multiplatform titles.

The new hacking system is so much better than the first one. I can't even explain how awesome it is (when compared).

My first fight against a Big Daddy actually went worse in this one than it did in the first Bioshock. They are ****ing tough in this game. My first fight against a Little Sister was actually easier because I had the Incinerate plasmid and just kept lighting her on fire.

I'm liking the feel of being a big daddy...definitely enjoying being able to dual wield the plasmid and a weapon at the same time.

Oh, and I don't know if they changed it or if I played on a different difficulty level in the first one, but only being able to have 5 health packs and EVE hypnos makes the game a lot harder.

As for the Sophia Lamb Vs Andrew Ryan who is better debate...I gotta play a little bit more, but at the moment, I'm actually liking Lamb better. She instills a lot more "hate" into her quickly and actually seems like a more evil person. I have to see if the payoff is as good as the scene with Ryan was in the first one to actually decide, but from listening to the audio tapes, to the PA messages, and then also the graffiti on the walls...I'm liking this one almost as much.

Health and Eve in this one definitely run out faster than the original. Money is another thing that seems to be a little tougher to accumulate. Never have enough everything you need, you need to decide what you really need then.

I started out with Hard but even on Easy, the fights vs certain enemies is ridiculous at times. Big Daddies are tough but you're not, alot more hiding this time for me than I did in Bioshock.

Love the atmosphere still and the random things that can occur when you least expect it.

So far with 4 or 5 hours in, I'd give it a 7/10 at this point. Its cool still but I'm just not into it as the original at this point. I would rent it over buying it, imo.

sigh. I'm at the point where you get the fire plasmid, no health, half abar of eve, i turned off the Vita Chambers and i have 34 dollars...and i have to beat a Big Sister. Awesome.

Annoying but glad its harder this time that BS1

I think this one is definitely a rental for me, much like the first one was. How is the online play?

Just had my first "That was ****in' awesome" moment of the game when I lured the Big Sister chasing me right into one of the turret-weilding Big Daddies.

I proceeded to sit back and watch the two of them go at it for a good two minutes. It was a crazy fight.

I have to say overall I'm enjoying this game. I don't get some of the hate this is getting on the net.

Its because no one wanted a sequel to this game and it didn't need a sequel at all.

With that said, I played about the first hour last night and it was really fun. Gameplay wise, I fell like its a improvement. Being the big daddy is really cool. The rivet gun is awesome.

Played a couple games of multiplayer too, it was surprisingly fun.
