Minerva's Den BioShock 2 DLC
Looks like this will be the first (and only apparently) Bioshock 2 DLC I get.
If you enjoyed BioShock 1 and Bioshock 2, then you owe it to yourself to play Minerva's Den. Trust me, you won't regret it!Comment

Re: BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams
Started playing through this game last night. What a great DLC. Unlike many DLC that feel hurried, rushed, or less than the original game, Minerva's Den is a real treat. Quality audio Diaries, a good story line, the same gameplay we came to love in BioShock series. There are a few new gameplay elements, but like the original it's the combination of GamePlay & Story line that will drive you forward and keep you enthralled throughout. With regards to DLC that creates a unique gameplay experience in and of itself, Minerva's Den is easily the best DLC I have played to date, and a real bargain at only 800 ($8 to $10 depending on how you buy your 360 points).

Re: BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams
Finally beat this. Wow! I liked it a lot better then the first one. At first I didn't because the WOW factor of Rapture wasn't there, but it was obvious they were able to focus a lot more on the story line. I think being able to use the combination of plasmids and weapons was what I loved the most. Made battles so much more fun.
Is the Minerva's Den DLC out on PC?Comment

We will not be offering Protector Trials and Minerva’s Den on the PC in the future – and I want to say that I’m sorry for the disappointment this will cause to PC players out there. As always, if any of these issues change in the future, I will update you guys first, but at this point in time I don’t want to make you wait any longer and these are the most definite answers I have and you guys should deem them final decisions.

Re: BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams
It is.
At first it wasn't, but there was a huge uproar and was announced a couple weeks later. It's actually free for PC users from what I read.Comment

Re: BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams
Played the first Bioshock for the first time last week because of all the hyped I read about in the past so I picked up a copy for cheap out of curiousity. I got to admit I am pretty dissapointed. Its an overrated game. If this is anything like the first count me out.Comment

Re: BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams
Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski was going to direct a big-screen version of BioShock. But, the picture fell apart. Verbinski now says why.
"I couldn't really get past anybody that would spend the money that it would take to do it and keep an R rating," Verbinski tells ComingSoon.net. "Alternately, I wasn't really interested in pursuing a PG-13 version." That's because, the director says, the R-rating is inherent to the material — "Little Sisters and injections and the whole thing."
"I just wanted to really, really make it a movie where, four days later, you're still shivering and going, 'Jesus Christ!'," he continues. "It's a movie that has to be really, really scary, but you also have to create a whole underwater world, so the pricetag is high. We just didn't have any takers on an R-rated movie with that pricetag."
No comprimise. Good job sir!

Re: BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams
I picked this up through GameFly after beating the first one, and overall I am still impressed.
It is kinda lame that you arent as POWERFUL as other big daddies, but I still feel pretty badass with the drill and pretty much 1 hit kos.
I also like the camera more, and the hacking more so Im still very interested in beating this game.
Oh yeah, and Im on Hard and its def harder than the 1st one (although I havent died yet)Charger Fan Born and Raised!

Re: BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams
This game is fantastic. I've been playing this constantly since I started. I like that they didn't change much. I loved he first one and the ambience. I get the same awesome vibe from this game.
Multiplayer trophies ftl however.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams
Well, I beat this the other night. What a great game. I'm thinking I might play it one more time on easy to clean up some of the single player trophies, may even try the multiplayer out to see how if I want to attempt those as well.
It seems beating this one without using vita chambers will be easier then it was in the first one.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon.
