oh so it's not my controller? he'd randomly stop running for no apparent reason lol

Berial = simple... devil arm grapple to his face, continue to slash until he turns to charcoal... devil arm grapple to his face again, then use regular devil arm to do a slam to the floor.. then go ahead and do the devil arm again when he's on the floor... rinse and repeat.

Wow. Nice demo. Really making use of the next-gen hardware, beautiful gothic scenery. I liked Unchartered alot but just the demo of this is more exciting.

For me it's just simply a controller preference for this game.

Did you notice how much darker the shadowing is in the PS3 version versus the 360? I found it almost hard to see in some areas when playing the demo on PS3 compared to when I played on 360.

I haven't noticed the controller issue yet, but I haven't had a chance to play too much yet...

The ONLY thing wrong is that the jumping up and down feels tacked on and last gen due to the fact that it feels like you are pulled down as son as you jump which isn't cool. other than that all the controls are slick and the camera is perfect easy to lock on easy to change views etc.

                Must buy? i think so

That's how the jumping has always felt in the series. The developers want the main character to feel heavy when jumping and move really fast, even though he can "hover" when attacking.

I had the PS3 version pre-ordered, but after playing them both I switched to the 360. I like the feel of the 360 controller, as well as rumble, better for this game.

Wow, just played the series for the first time in a long time. I really like the 360 controls compared to the PS2 controls I was used to in old-gen. Nice, fun game.

I have to admit that this is one beautiful looking game. It looks like they have the AA in full gear. I just dont like the "rail" feeling of the movement. Also the camera is pretty stationary but I guess fans of the game/series whatever are used to that. It just feels a little last gen being that everything nowadays are free movement with the camera.

Does anyone know if this is multiplayer? Can two guys duke it out in this game?

IGN review is up - 8.7 (both consoles)

Looks as though the PS3 version may have a SLIGHT edge:

"Like most multi-console games, any review would inevitably have to come down to which system is better, and for this instance, the PS3 winds up winning out just slightly. It's not in the gameplay department, because DMC4 plays the same regardless of which system that you play on. Nor is it in the visual department, because visual issues are virtually negligible. For example, the 360 has some harder edges to some characters during cutscenes, and a little more screen tearing than the PS3 at times. The PS3 can be a wee bit darker during some scenes, though. Both systems show off a certain amount of render passing that pops into focus on sweeping vista shots, but they occur at the same time on each system and are quickly dismissed. However, observing these differences will only come via frame-by-frame analysis of each game side-by-side. Even then, you're still receiving an incredible visual experience.

No, the edge comes in the fact that the PS3 installs a large amount of game files to the hard drive, dramatically reducing load times between stages and cinematics. I've timed the game on both systems numerous times, and each time has been consistently in the PS3's favor. Transitions to gameplay from starting menus are relatively close, frequently within half a second or so of each other, but when you're loading up a cutscene or having another pause in the action, the 360's times are easily three times that of the PS3."

OXM gave it a 7.5, got it the mag today. They seemed to really like it for the review though, so I didn't get the 7.5 score.
