Re: Bionic Commando Rearmed
Rush'n Attack has been available on XBLA for quite some time now. Although it is the arcade version of course and not the NES version which many people (myself included) are familiar with.Comment

IGN: Bionic Commando Rearmed Review - 9.4
Bionic Commando Rearmed sets a new benchmark for downloadable console games. The best elements of the original are back, but have been upgraded to be better than before. The new bosses add a more interesting challenge and the final level is one for the ages. And, of course, the visuals are brilliant. The remastered soundtrack is fantastic as well. From top to bottom, Bionic Commando Rearmed is an incredible game that's well worth owning.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Bionic Commando Rearmed
If you played the original, you will absolutely love the new version. This is the way an old classic should be remade.
Played a little this morning. It's just pure liquid awesome. 800 ms points is a STEAL for this game.

Re: Bionic Commando Rearmed
This is how you do a remake. The only thing missing is online co-op. The challenge rooms are so addictive. I was a bit weary about getting this for 360, because of the d-pad, but the trial version sold me. The stick works great.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Bionic Commando Rearmed
Bionic Commando: Rearmed Sells 130,000 Units in First Week
Whether out of nostalgia for an old favorite or new curiosity over what all the fuss was about, it seems today's gamers have given Bionic Commando: Rearmed -- a remake of the NES classic -- their seal of approval. According to a new post on Capcom's official Bionic Commando blog (via Kotaku), producer Ben Judd reveals the downloadable title has sold 130,000 copies across all three platforms in its first week of release.
"Holy fiddlesticks," Judd calmly and coolly proclaims in the post. "That may not seem impressive compared to package titles that sell in the millions but compared to other digital titles that is a friggin JUGGERNAUT!" So just why, exactly, is Judd so excited? As he explains, he thinks it's more than just good news about strong sales:
And while, it's great to have my first title be not only a critically acclaimed one but also a financial success, there is a bigger picture at play here that we need to look at. Consumers voted with their dollars. They basically have sent the message loud and clear:
We are tired of meta-emulated crap.
We want the titles of yesteryear to be paid the proper respect.
We want them done right.
And if the price is right, we'll buy.
There was definitely a lot of love for Rearmed around these parts, so it's nice to see a great game getting the success it deserves. Hopefully Judd will be proven right, and Rearmed will set a new high bar for other developers to strive for when dealing with remakes and re-releases of their old titles.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
