When did you send it? I haven't received anything from anyone yet.

Check the mailbox if you haven't, if someone has sent you something.

I haven't had anything sent to me so I'm not sure if there's a message that pops up or not.

How does the legendary ring get to you for linking your accounts? Through that mail system or does it just appear in your stash?

I checked it around 7est last night and played until 10. I def didn't have anything when I checked but hopefully a gift is in there when I check tonight!

Appears in your inventory, as do the Infernal Pauldrons (though there is a bug with those. If they don't appear, you have to exit the game and go to settings ----> restore licenses after you download the tiny add-on from the store.)

I thought either the ring or pauldrons were in my stash. Can't remember which one though.

I was playing coop last night with a guy who had a dog running around with him. He said it was included with his preorder. Anyone know what that was?

Would anyone here be interested in like... "a noob's guide" to this? I know it being on consoles has opened the game up to a crowd of people that may have not played this before. It's pretty basic to get into, but there are some things to look for once you get to the higher levels of the game that the game would never explain to you.

For instance, one of those is a legendary weapon without a socket is pretty much useless to you (if you have a rare or legendary with a socket.) For any sort of efficiency you need a weapon with at least 1 socket and that socket has to be taken with the best emerald (+% to crit damage) that you can afford.

The "guide" would cover a lot more than that (and a lot of the basic stuff as well, like breaking down the classes). It wouldn't be fancy (just a word document with links when appropriate) but if it's something you guys here would be interested in I can definitely help out and at least get started on that some more.
I will start playing next monday probably naver played a diablo game before so for sure I would be really interested in this guide

Alright. I got started on it, but I'm about to hop back in my game and play some more. I'll devote more time to it later, but it's just a semi outline (and only has 1 mini sub-section somewhat compete [the parts about the Barbarians, though I didn't finish fleshing out the skill part yet.])

There's a chime that sounds (impossible to hear if in combat) and a little yellow envelope icon shows up in the bottom left. A big envelope also floats above the mailbox when mail is waiting.

                          Here's a question for anyone:

At what point should I drop a rare or legendary if I start finding magic or commons (or store-bought pieces) that are better in their base stats than the rarer item? Realistically that doesn't happen as often now that rares drop like candy, but I hate getting rid of a leg for an inferior overall item which still has more DPS or armor.

When do you guys decide it's finally time to upgrade your equipment?

As soon as I see one with better stats I salvage my legendary item.

BTW, I'm enjoying DH Smoke Screen/Displacement WAY too much while playing solo. So easy to just blow through areas with that speed and get to the good stuff later in the game
