Have been playing around in the PC beta with the Necromancer. Is that same fun feeling from Diablo 2 decimating everything with a legion of undead. Bone Armor looks especially cool when activated.

Re: Diablo 3
There more story coming to, or just an old/new playable character?Comment

Re: Diablo 3
Yeah there should be some story for the new character. Btw there are 6 new lands in the beta, 2 in Act II and 4 in Act IV, but no one is sure if they will use those 6 for the ultimate release. But it bodes well for new areas to explore.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Diablo 3
Actually sorry, I should have clarified, I meant those new lands will be coming with the new character class Necromancer as part of the DLC pack.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Thank you. I'll check tonight. Probably a go at 30 bucks and I'm assuming it's gotta be that at 50% off.Comment

Re: Diablo 3
Been playing Season mode, for the first time ever. Finished the first 3 sets of Quests and I'm roughly lvl 40 Paragon now. The 4th Quest set of quests require you to be on Torment level 1 through 4, something I've never achieved in the game since they added the Torment levels.
Playing Crusader and taking damage is not an issue on the Master level, but not dealing out enough damage yet to move up to the other difficulties.
Primarily played this game when it first launched. At that time, the main goal was to increase critical hit percentage + critical hit damage over everything else. Has anything really changed? Any advise on how to move fairly quickly into the Torment levels?Comment

Try and find a high damage weapon as well, I'm not familiar with crusader so I'm not sure of the top tier weaponsLast edited by mikenoob; 05-02-2017, 06:12 PM.Comment

Re: Diablo 3
You just gotta work your way into a class set. It could be from the season journal reward quests or finding them through rifts. Sets are really powerful now and are the core for 99% of builds.

Think I'm going to try Torment 1 tomorrow for the first time. I was able to extract some powers so I could increase/change my gear. Definitely helped out. Ironically I'm using the Phalanx attack as my biggest damage power (primarily for bosses) which most of the builds I've reviewed don't mention, so it may be an intermittent power until I get other gear. Basically there was a power I extracted that reduced the cooldown and increased the damage by 60% for it. Definitely a game changer on my current Crusader build.Comment

Diablo 3
Thanks. Getting sets was nigh impossible back when I played & the game launched. The Adventure mode seems to make that easier, though I still don't have a single complete set.

Are you on ps4? If so I can speed run some rifts to help you get some gear to start out
Also if crusaders are like demon hunters for starting out, try and craft a rare 2h weapon. I believe the axe has the highest damage so try and craft a couple level 70 2h axes until you get a high damage one.

Re: Diablo 3
Finally able to play Torment 5 (roughly lvl 24'ish solo on rift runs) now. Really like the season mode. It forces you to try / do things I had not done in the single player mode. Altered quite a bit of my armor to give me life per second for example. Still not using a full set though, as the Legendaries seem to be better.
Kind of disappointed that Powers from Kanai's cube (obtained from legendaries) don't appear to stack if using the same power twice (one as a Power, and then on the armor).Comment
