that was awesome. the thing is, we could've gone so much further on avalanche if the two randoms on our team didn't suck. I was checking their scores throughout the game and they were considerably below you, my friend and myself. the BIG P1MP1N dude died 11 times before I died twice.

It was great. I think it's cool when you have friends that can communicate. For some reasons randoms don't want to go through the hassel of actually talking, so it just creates more problems.

We should definitely do it again soon.

Anyone that's up for some Horde mode sometime that actually uses a mic should hit me up...

I have yet to play Horde mode. Whenever I'm online, I am looking for OSers so I can give it a try. No luck so far.

What combo of weapons does everyone use? I always go with the sniper and lancer and never drop the sniper. Anyone here prefer the locust gun over the lancer?

I am just picking up every new thing to try out and get the achievement for killing something with every weapon. My favorite though is the sniper and I don't know the name of this rifle, but it's powerful as hell. I'll get back with the name.

There is no continues in Horde mode. If all your teammates are dead, it's over and no more starting over or retrying.

The only match mode that players respawn almost right away which is death match rules is the leader game mode.

This is not true. you can DEFINITELY continue from ur last level on Horde mode. even the next day. Im up to level 17. so today i will start from 17. Invite me fellas i have a mic and use great strategory. lol GT: Joey Vast

I got that achievement earlier, last weapon I needed was the ink grenade. Got it in a 5 on 5 match.

Got the ink last night on a guy that was down and crawling, I tagged him with it and the gas or explosion killed him.

I'm still missing a weapon though. I think it might be the Hammer of Dawn.

Also I love the achievement tracker in this game.

Just got done doing rounds of Horde with Skerik, sportsdude, TheLetterZ, blaxican, fishepa, and other others.

Was a great time. Was hoping we could get farther, but always got stuck between a rock and a hard place when we got to the high 20s.

Great group guys, we'll have to do it again...

OK, randoms can still drop in and joing the private hosted matches right?

The public match setup is lame... forcing five people per team, everyone fighting over which map/mode to play.

If I'm reading these instructions right, a private match simply allows the host to control the options, while still allowing randoms to drop in.

Please tell me I'm right...
