Hmm.. wonder if anyone has a Gold Lancer code they don't plan on using? I could offer a COD5 M1A1 code in exchange.. Got that code for pre-ordering through gamestop to get into the beta and then immediately cancelled my pre-order.. Still got the email for the M1A1 code yesterday.

I only have the blinged out Hammerburst. It's not as cool, but still good bling.

I FINALLY just finished the Campaign on Hardcore. I liked this campaign more than Gears 1.

I think I'm gonna stick to multiplayer for awhile before I try to go all "Insane" Difficulty. I found Hardcore to be easier than the first game, but still had it's moments of incredible difficulty.

I also think that the AI is better this go around, although there were still a couple instances where I would get Chainsawed while Dom sat and watched.

All in all I give it 9.5/10 for campaign.

My biggest gripe with the squad mates AI is that they fail at taking out wretches again. They are much, much improved over the first Gears but when Wretches flood the area, they just kind of ignore them.

that was just nuts. I had no clue we were going to be able to pull that off tonight. I mean when we started playing and were dying and failing multiple times on waves 18-20 I thought there was no way. Then something clicked and we just started dominating. Wave 50 didn't even feel that hard but maybe that's just how far in the zone we were. And yeah, that took over four hours to complete and now I'm only going to get five hours of sleep before work but who cares?! Totally worth it.

I thought the campaign mode was much improved in GOW2. Much more "wieght" to the story and when you're done you feel more like you've played through an epic adventure than the first. Played through on normal the first time so I could collect all the achievments, not i'm starting on hardcore and did some time in Horde today.

I'll do some messing around in the other multiplayer modes tonight.

One thing I didn't like about the squad Ai is that on the 2 man missions your squadmate will sometimes rush into a crowd of high powered locusts rather than hanging back, taking cover, and picking them off one by one. I also wish the squad mate was a little more responsive when you're down and calling for revival.

But overall it's an awesome experience.

Same here, and you're right. Everything just clicked after wave 20. Locust never had a chance after that.

I can tell you what happened after Wave 20. I moved over to the hotel and protected you and sportsdude so you two could wreak havoc on everything.

I haven't ventured into the campaign yet, but horde mode is unreal. Only downfall is actually trying to connect to a game. Me and my brother just tried for a half hour to get a game in. Finally we connected, but by Wave 5 we lost connection. Never have I seen it this bad.

Dude no doubt. It takes FOREVER to get a game online. Horde seems to be quicker than the other modes to a small extent. It almost makes me not want to play online for all the waiting I have to do.
