Just got this.......awesome game...

I just got my first "title"
will that be explained? do they have any signifigance?

^IIRC each title you equip gives you a certain attribute bonus.
Ex. Say your Title was "Swordsman" - Str may go up at the cost of Def or something like that.

Man.. I havent played this game in like 2 months. I stopped after having capturing the bear or something. Pretty early on. But schools over so ill be back!

I keep trying to skip this thread. A few months ago, I accidentally deleted my save for ToV with about 30 hours on the clock. I was livid. It was my fault so I can only blame stupid. I told myself I'd concentrate on school and get back to it after the semester was over. I finished my finals last week and I just haven't been able to get myself to start a new game.

Has anyone else ever deleted a save and had a hard time getting back into the game?

Just picked this up too and I have mixed feelings about this. This is my 1st Tales game and I keep saying too myself that this game is ehhhh, but yet I keep playing .
I love the fighting but I feel like that I am not setting things up properly as far as my characters go.
I just passed the part where you are and:

Now I am stuck at a Boss battle with that damn Gattuso from the demo. I have no idea what to do with him. Please help. I think my characters levels are too low.

But I am with you I hope this game does pick up.Edit:I just completed the Spolier.

Take out the cubs first to give you a hand. Also, the old tried and true RPG fall back if you're getting your tale handed to you by a boss is to go out and grind like a mofo. More health and better stats will make a difference.

The only other advice I can offer you is to stay on top of things like managing your apple gels. Screw around with your battle strategy (I personally don't cause there is no indicator if you're switching between them correctly)

No problem. My general strategy is to buy new weapons and than grind until my party learns all their new abilities before moving around.
