Lost: Via Domus
Is anyone planning on picking this up this week? I know there are a lot of fans of the show here. Usually TV to video game adaptations aren't the greatest, but I'm such a huge fan of the show, I'll probably still end up getting it. My major issue is that they only got 6 actors from the show to do voicework. All the other characters are done by sound-alikes. From the videos, the Jack and Sayid actors sound decent, but the Locke actor sounds nothing like Terry O'Quinn. The IGN preview is here.Tags: None -

I'm getting it for the Lost factor alone. I think it'll be a cool companion for the show. Wife paid it off for me for my birthday. -

For any of you guys here who do a review let me know if it'll be good for someone who's not a fan/haven't seen the show. I'm always up for renting interesting games.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Lost: Via Domus
I'm not too interested in this game personally. The producers said that there won't be any answers or anything in this game as that would be unfair to the viewers to force them to buy it.Listen to some of my covers:

Re: Lost: Via Domus
I am very interested because of the Lost angle (absolutely LOVE the show) but normally I would not even give a game like this a second glance. Especially one that has gotten such little coverage (not a great sign). If any OS'ers get it, please post impressions, as that might help me decide what to do.Comment

Re: Lost: Via Domus
I've only played 10 minutes so far but I'm enjoying it. The sound is top notch and the graphics are pretty solid. I had my first flashback and I had to take a picture of Kate on the plane to trigger it.Comment

Re: Lost: Via Domus
Pretty cool game, it's like playing the TV show.
Same music, same feeling. Flashbacks, the whole 9 yards. One thing cool, when you finish the first episode and start the 2nd, it does a "Previously on Lost" and shows a recap from the last episode.
Game isn't difficult, but it looks gorgeous. Also, the voices aren't the real actors, some sound good (Jack, Kate, Sayid, Michael) and some sound bad to me, (Locke, Sawyer, Hurley).
If you're a Lost fan, I think it's a must own.Comment
