I never trade or sell any of my games. I still have my atari 2600 with about 50 games.

I keep all my games also. I dont think i've ever gone into a store to trade any of my games...not even the bad sports games.

I'd rather sell a game than keep it and never really play it again. At least I'm getting some value for it. I am buying less and less games though. I used to pick up more and end up playing them for a bit, but now I'm only getting games I really want. I don't have time for all games.

I keep most of the games I buy. I only the "must haves" and I gamefly the rest (4 game plan). And when I come to consoles, I have 3DO (w/12 games), N64 (w/4 games
), PS One (w/25 games), Dreamcast (w/10 games and about 90 "other" games), PS2 (w/13 games and 35 on HDD), Xbox (w/12 games), and Xbox 360 (w/13 games)
Boy this habit is as bad as dope!!!

              I keep all my games.

The only games I get rid of are my year old sports titles if I plan on picking up the new version. Then I give them to family members or something.

My younger cousins don't care or usually know who the rookies are anyway.

Just bumping a few old threads. Was wondering about this too. Seems like a lot of guys have unlimited credit at GS or one of those other stores. I personally love to keep all the games I pickup. There are games I haven't even tried to play yet but they're waiting. I play sports games and usually one story-driven game. Right now I'm on Bioshock. I'm trying to finish it up but I'm so into College Hoops 2K8. Trying to get a solid draft class as well as a better job so I can make the big dance a few times and get top quality recruits.

As a matter of fact, I liek to pick up older games from GS when I see them. XBOX games basically. I'm building up my library of games I haven't played but always wanted to get my hands on. They're becoming quite cheap. Just need to buy a few more cd cases now.

I used to keep everthing...i remember selling old consoles w/ like 18 games included. Now I feel that media is more disposeable, and there is no reason to keep games that I don't play anymore.
For example I traded in oblivion to go towards cod4 because i had put over 150 hrs into it, beat it, and have no need to play it again.
I no longer see the point of keeping them, instead of making new games cheaper for me.
I'm even going to trade in gears of war when gta4 drops! Great game, but I've moved on, plus november #2 comes out.
I have all-pro, and will most likely keep it simply because the value I'd get for it ~4 bucks isn't worth it.
this generation of consoles, I've bought maybe 14-18 games, but I currently have only 6 games:
rock band, cod4, gears, mass effect, all-pro, GH2.
Funny I got rid of GH3 because i found even though the songs were better - gh2 was way more fun - but I'm getting rid of that to come gta4, and maybe even mass effect since the dlc will not apply for me since i beat the game.

end of april i'll have apf, gta4, cod4, rock band.

future titles I plan on buying for sure are Backbreaker, battlefield bad company, Civ revolution, conan hyborian adv, gears 2, and fallout 3.

and potentials are; prizefighter, alone in the dark, star wars; force unl., left 4 dead, and quite a few definite rentals

that heaps of games...i'd never revisit the old ones.

I usually don't trade games in because of the rediculously low cash value they give you for a game. If I were to buy a New release open it and trade it in, they give me $30, but charge $50-$55.. Now I understand they gotta make thier money, but atleast give me $45, they wouldn't be so bad...Plus the fact that any older sports game will get me less than $5, so while I might not play them alot, I usually won't trade a game in unless it has sat on my shelf for a long time

Generally I keep my games, I still have every genesis, dreamcast, and xbox game I've ever bought. I did get into selling some of my 360 games back to liongames.com for a while, but am now keeping any games I buy. Seems like I'm buying fewer and fewer games lately, not sure if its a lack of time, or the lack of quality titles.

I usually get rid of all my games since I only buy sports games for the most part. With the rosters changing there is no way that Im gonna play a game like FIFA07 with outdated rosters over the 08 version. I try to trade them in before the new version comes out to get a little cash back.

The only game I can remember having regretted trading in was God War 1 & 2 but since they went with the PS3 I didn't really have a choice.
