See,that's what I want in a mobster gang. I want my character to be involved in a crew. Yeah, you would have your story missions for your character to rise through the ranks and be able to run your own crew. But I would have more fun with the jobs that I would plan for my crew, like hijackings and whatnot. It would make you feel like you were a part of something, unlike the feeling I got when I played "The Godfather." I felt like a lot of people were getting rich while my guy was taking all the risks.

Re: If you had the ability to create one game...
For me i would like to see a lacrosse game that played along the lines like FIFA, preferably a NCAA since i have gone to the tournament 2 years in a row and this year will be 3
As a non-sports game i wouldn't mind seeing a Halo 4Comment

+1 for the lacrosse game. I have been waiting 16 years now...
Non sports:
I'd like to see something along the lines of Rainbow Six, but with a LOT more RPG involved, like the ability to build peoples skills up, recruit people from around the world, and a lot more varied environments. The ability to interdict in bank robberies, airplane hijackings, boat interdictions with drug deals.Comment

Re: If you had the ability to create one game...
A very open ended, immersive mob or gang game.
Create a character and decide what you want to do - run it alone, build up your own crew, try to get recruited to an already established crew, etc.
Do everything from mass drug trade, to murders, to abductions...everything. Work your way up and become the kingpin of your crew, have to set the schedules, talk to suppliers, deal with insubordination, worry about your name on the streets, etc.Comment

Re: If you had the ability to create one game...
-massively multiplayer online Grand Theft Auto. Either form gangs and run the town, play as cops and take back the town, or play as an independent figure who carries out justice as he sees fit. The cities would dynamically change both in appearance and actual gameplay based on whether the cops or outlaws were in control (e.g. bad guys winning = more run down city, restless pedestrians, more random AI petty crimes, pedestrians may attempt to attack your character if you attack them rather than call cops). [I think GTA4 may have beat me to this, but I haven't been following that game at all somehow].GTA, but like a MMO like mentioned.
I didn't think of the specifics like that, but that sounds great.(yes, APB)

I would also like a very open ended Gang/Mob-type game.
Here's where mines differ:
You have the ability to select the State/city in which the game is based. It would be a Major State/City (NY, Cali, ATL, TEX, MA, FL, etc) For me it would be Cali (LA, Compton, Inglewood, Watts, etc) The game would be a very close replica of the city you choose.(from street names to the corner market) This game would have loaded satellite images for each location, therefore it would definitely be a multi-disk game. You will have the option to clean up the city (uniform cop or undercover) or tear it down (gangster or crooked cop)
"King Kong 'aint got nuthin' on me." LolComment

I'd start off with MA, in Boston...and then corrupt all the suburban towns throughout the state. Be fun as hell.Comment

Re: If you had the ability to create one game...
a harcore sniper game.
w/ bullet drop, and wind affecting it like sniper elite (wish that game could make a sequel) Only modern and w/ at least 2 landscapes; city, jungle/army
big single player assassination missions where you have to get into a good shooting position, have intel sent to you, and make some reading for the shots you will have to make. Some missions you have a spotter giving you guidance and others you are alone. Sometimes you will know of a counter sniper looking for you, and may have to take him out.
multiplayer for my idea would be heaps of fun. You get in a lobby of 12 people (you have to pre-design your character w/ face-clothes etc.) Before it begins each player is secretely given 3-4 cards that are ID's of other people in the lobby at random (ie. your targets are not necessarily targeting you)
So you have to spot them and take them out (while there are many npc's around, so you literally have to ID them)
This would require sizeable landscapes and rediculous draw distance, as I would hope to be able to take someone out at almost 2k w/ the perfect shot.
other things to make it cool is the largest number of sniper rifles ever seen in a game w/ multiple scopes and range finder's etc..
realistic damage so that your character can't function normally if hit in the foot for example, but can still play - but a head/heart shot takes someone out no matter what in one shot.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment
