there are no achievements linked to difficulty in this game. So you can change all you want.

The Enforcer is insanely cheap when you play defense on Siege. I just sat on the top of a hill (forgot which level, the one that has 2 buildings and 2 smokestacks to destroy, then the garage) and went 18-0. Just sit far away and let the homing bullets do all the work.

This was already my favorite game of 2009 pre-finding out that you could change difficulty levels down. Played for over an hour, it's 100x more fun now on casual, sure I don't die as much now and feel more invincible, but also realize how much damage I can do.

There will be an update this week BTW. It should be out tomorrow but should be out by Friday. The update will include making Anarchy 12 people and making the Rocket Launcher Game types harder to get. It will also split up Team Objective into 3 separate Objective Based game types. (Capture the Flag, Damage Control and Demolision). It was on the Red Faction Site. I will try to find the link.

Ya. I bought day of release and did enjoy it. But for me, I just got tired of "Mars" everything looks the exact same, and it is hard to get to know the area as everything is red rocks.

CoJ:BiB has taken my time lately, I enjoy the MP on that much better than RFG. Doesn't matter cause once NCAA drops, everything is gonna take a back seat anyway.

In terms of the single-player campaign, I do agree with this. I had this and inFamous rented at the same time, and it was so much easier to grow attached to the city in inFamous.

This game is really annoying. It isn't challenging due to great design, they just throw enemy after enemy at you. At this point I wish I had bought something else.

that's why they should have done the difficulties differently. for some reason, gamers feel like less of a person if they dare pick the easy difficulty, which actually allows for the most fun in this game.

Yes, as a freedom fighter/insurgent/terrorist, you shouldn't be able to single-handedly take on a superior military force and expect to succeed. But this is a game where it's fun to blow up buildings and cause damage. Put it on easy and have fun.

Yeah, I played more last night finally putting it to easy and it's infinitely more fun. I can just run around and destroy like crazy, but eventually they will kill me if I'm not careful. Enough possibility of death but still more powerful to make it fun....
