I just can't get into SP games when there is a MP online to go along with it.

Dookie, maybe you should check out the videos they have, on the game, to see what the backpacks/weapons do.

This is definitely one of the most well rounded games I've played in awhile. The SP is good and the MP is even better. Even for people who don't go online should give it more than a rent.

yea and the spectator mode is great for MP noobs to see what the hell people are using as backpack weapon combos and how best to use them in certain situations.

its a good rental,I just found it a little wierd when the command tells you to Run and hide when you are being pursued...lol Not my style at all I prefer to shoot first....MP was okay just dont get a room full of kids lots of f-bombs,had to leave quick.

Can't you say that with every online game though? This game is no different then any other shooter when it comes to morons and cussing, racial comments etc...

thats true, my main point was about the lack of weaponry when confronted,and being told to cover.

Definitely start trying out the different backpacks, they can allow you escape, different attack angles, the ability to charge through walls fast, etc.

I need to get better in the multiplayer, but I enjoy the "destroy" game modes...it's cool when taking out buildings is required, rather than just most kills.

Picked this up today. I'm loving it so far. I may never even touch the SP with how much fun I am having online.

Is there blood? Seems like when I shoot or hit someone with my hammer I don't see any. I expected to see blood splatter everywhere the first time I played.

i honestly wanna nominate this game for being game of the year so far in the 1st half of the year 2009

i love everything about it . the singe player is awesome the soundtrack of this game makes you get pumped for the missions theres a lot of side missions i just hope that thq gives us another red faction next year.
