I picked up RF G last week when K-Mart had a $49.99 sale going on.

The single-player is fun, although I had to knock the difficulty down to Casual. Online is hard to get used to since my little Xbox Live experience has been with Call of Duty 4.

E3 2010: New Red Faction Set For Debut

During THQ's third quarter investor call this afternoon, THQ president and CEO Brian Farrell announced a new Red Faction is currently in development by Volition Studios and is set to debut the title at this coming E3 2010 event in Los Angeles this June.

"We also plan to launch a high-quality sequel to Red Faction in fiscal 2011. Building on their innovative destruction engine, our team at Volition is delivering a quality sequel in the Red Faction universe that will include robust online gameplay," he added.

Happy to hear this. My game of the year for 2009. Kind of surprised that they re coming out with a sequel to this before Saints Row 3( which was announced as coming out in Fiscal 2012 today).

Finally got my free copy that came with Darksiders. Looking forward to playing. Interesting that THQ cut the barcode to prevent trade-in.

I got my copy in yesterday. Nice to get a free game even though this really isn't my type of game.

By the way, can anyone tell me how the single player on this game? About how many hours is the story?

there's plenty of good impressions earlier in this thread. I beat it when it came out in less than 10 hours, but YMMV. Also, play it on easy, as the game is more fun that way.

This is very true. It can be like banging your head against a brick wall on the higher difficulties.
