Nice job on the clan Eton. I just finished a respawn game to use the 417. WOW. In just 2 rounds (20 mins) I was 47Ks-14Ds. I was 30-10 with the 417! I really like the gun, it drops people with 2 shots. The VAL on the mercs side is sweet too, it kinda feels similar to the 417. We gotta get more guys on, its boring without Eton, and coupleoffew, and Maffers, and all you guys

I told tree this and I will tell others. On the 417, its only 20 rounds so you can go through them Quick. One attachment you can now put on the gun is a m870 shotgun. I think this can help you if your in CQC and you run out of Bullets.

Definitely need to give /6 some props. The DLC and 1.6 patch have been great additions and i'm really enjoying socom again. MW2 had me pulled away, actually the Mag Beta and then MW2 had me away from socom for a good while but I always come back to it.

It took a long freakin' time but i'm glad everything is running well and I have a game that I can actually call quality to turn to, its my favorite shooter on the console even over MW2 (which is fantastic) and it has no rival in as a 3rd person tactical shooter.

I want to play this game badly, but I want to play a bunch of other games badly as well. I haven't been able to pop in a disc for well over a month now because my PS3 disc drive won't eject.

I did, it's 10 feet away from me unopened.

I stripped down my PS3 yesterday to dissect the problem, and I think I found it... but it requires me to detach the bottom of the disc drive, which has an unattachable ribbon cable on the bottom, connected underneath the power unit, which is unattachable from the outside screws. It's all messed up, and I'm asking someone online about it so I'll try it again.

Basically, I'm trying to fix this PS3 first.

Good luck man. Last time I tried doing something like that was with was with trying to sodder a switch to the Saturn for playing import games.........it totally messed the system up. Only other system I ever opened up was the PS2 when the fliptop mod was popular to play modded games, other than that I try not to mess around with opening systems up after the Saturn debacle. I don't count the PS3 since installing the HDD was fairly easy.

Were you able to get your game out of the drive though or its still in there?

Yeah, I got it out yesterday. It was a movie, though. However I did try and put a test CD in there, and strangely it actually inserted. Though it still couldn't eject, so I had to take it out while the PS3 was still opened up.

The way I see it, until I have it fixed I could always put a disc in there that I know I'll play for a long time before I officially get it fixed or have to change it out. That sounds weird, though. That game may have to be Rock Band 2.

Though I really want to try out these new maps! Tis an unfortunate situation indeed.
