Can you just sell the games to Goozex for points, or does someone actually have to buy them from you?

Only buy but whenever I listed a game I had a buyer within an hour. Usually pretty much within 10 minutes or so.

I'm trying my older games, though. Games like NBA 2K6 on Xbox are 300 points for some reason. I wonder how many people will go for that.

You can check by clicking on the game. There it should tell you how many people currently are requesting the game, how many people are offering it, and how many trades are going on currently. This should give you an idea how long it will take.

i have assassins creed on there, and it's been waiting for awhile. Says long wait instead of a real number. Probably need to just take the $20 for it off ebay instead.

Yep, some of the old gen games are taking awhile to unload. Strangely, Frequency went super-quick for me. I like the site so far though. I've unloaded Frequency and Burnout Paradise and had Fifa 08 and now Saints Row being sent to me.

SO far so good for me with the site. I got rid of 5 games and i have got good feed back on all. I also received one game so far. I like the site but newer games will take awhile to get. This site is good to get rid of those older games you got laying around and will only get peanuts if you trade them in at EB/GS

So, for clarification, I just went onto the site and added Uncharted: Drakes Fortune as available and requested Hot Shots Golf Out of Bounds, now what? I take it I sit and wait for Goozex to contact me and let me know when there is a match? Now what if Hot Shots becomes available before someone takes my game, how do I pay for that game then? Sorry for all of the questions, just want to try this out but want to make sure Im aware of how it works and what to expect.

EDIT- To add to this, I had someone request it and I agreed. I received a email to print out some sheet to fold and whatnot, I guess because I only have the disc and not the case at all, but cant I use a generic case and throw it in one of my bubble mailers without using that? Secondly, it shows the Goozex address as the return address in case it gets lost in the mail, wouldnt it be more beneficial to have that as my address and not theirs? Im slightly confused here so if someone who has done this previously can explain it to me that would be appreciated.

Another question, when I agreed to mail it they gave me two options in terms of time to mail it, 1 or 3 days, but with the holliday this weekend I cant ship anything until Tuesday which would be 4 days, is that going to be a problem? Im not aware of how the website works with this situation and I cant find anything over there at the website that sheds light on this.

Pimping, I'll answer these.

1. When you put your game up for trade, put it in the condition you will send it in. There is a way to put it that you don't have the case. This way, if the buyer doesn't want it that way, They will reject you and go to the next person.

2. If you can't send it out in time, send a private message to the buyer and explain to them. Most of the time the person will understand.

I did that and the buyer was fine with it, Goozex really needs to alter the options for shipping though considering it only gives you 1 or 3 days but yet when there is a holiday, like this weekend, and nothing is open its impossible to get it out within 3 days. I suppose most people dont even say anything and mail it on the 4th day anyways but I didnt want my first trade on there to go down the toilet. Thanks for the calrification.

so I see the site is a follower of the nickel and diming strategy. To cash out on my points now, I have to buy another trade credit. The lowest amount is 5 credits for 5 dollars. I don't need 5 credits, I only need one. Spending 5 dollars just to redeem 1 game worth 300 points is a waste. I got rid of the older games I wanted, so I don't see myself using this again for awhile.

Not sure how many people are using Goozex, but the site is getting better and better. Last month I was able to take advantage of a beta program called Goozex Exchange to utilize the points from my trades to buy Resident Evil 5 for the 360 brand new. They are working to make this more permanent which would be great for those who don't feel like waiting in a queue to get a game traded to them.

They also have their own postage service where you can just print the postage and drop your game in the mail without having to deal with going to the post office. I personally still use PayPal shipping because it is cheaper, but it's nice that this is an option for some folks.

Right now if you sign up you get one free trade credit. You used to get 100 free points, but that promo ended earlier this year. I have used to site for almost a year and I have traded 42 games and received 38 in return. I couldn't even calculate how much money Goozex has saved me, not to mention how many more games I have gotten to play.

well it's still going so it's got some credibility going. I haven't used it since I left after making a series of whiny post a few years ago apparently.
