I think you just have to play further in the game and it'll happen. I got denied like you did at first, but after a certain mission it'll make sense and you'll have a profile (therefore able to date others I guess)...

Is there no option to view who is currently in the lead in multiplayer and is there any option to mute people. Man there is some annoying people playing this game.

You can press down on the d-pad to bring up the scoreboard. Not sure about muting people though.

Well...

I am now dating both Carmen and Kiki.

I took Kiki to the Comedy club and she liked it.

I took Carmen to the strip club, thinking she would hate it and she was annoying so I wanted her to hate it...but she loved it, told me it got her real horny, and I ended up keeping her number.

I'll casually date 'em both and see how much of a pimp Niko is.

I would go crazy if I was dating a girl in real life and she talked 3rd person.

But yeah, Carmen is cheap. Strip club and fast food works. I have her at 98% so I'm curious to see what kind of perk she has. Being she works at a hospital I'm hoping for something good.

I don't have the game yet... So, how much interaction does the city/people have with each other? It almost sounds like you can just chill in one area and watch all the crazyness of liberty city unfold.

Pretty much. People are always talking one one another or on their cell phones. Cops arresting people, people fighting with each other. The city is like main character in this game. It is amazing how alive it is.

Looks like I (Niko) may have to find a new girlfriend.......especially after the "Car Wash" dated that I had Niko take that Beyotch Michelle on yesterday (see page 500 of this thread if interested in seeing how that went down...LOL)

Six complaints:

1. Not enough clothes, and where are my accessories? One pair of shades in the whole game? Hats? Jewelry?

2. Now that I have a crapload of money, what is there to buy? Not that I was into buying safehouses, but shouldn't there be something more to this game in terms of what we can spend our money on?

3. No customizing cars?

4. Where's the difficulty level? There's nothing wrong with the game's tendency to be very forgiving, but it would be nice if more of the car crashes were fatal, for example, and if it took fewer shots to kill you. (And I love the idea someone else mentioned about having an option to turn on traffic law enforcement.)

5. Some more The Sims aspects would be great: Niko should have to sleep, bathe and go to the bathroom. Also, gas stations should be fully functional: some cars you get will have more or less gasoline, and thus some will require fueling.

6. The game is Grand Theft Auto. Doesn't it make sense that we should always be able to take any car we want and get money for it? I know there's the mission string with Brucie, but I mean just a general "chop shop" that we can take any car to. Doesn't that seem like something really obvious that's been missing from this series? (But I guess since there's nothing to spend money on anyway, it doesn't matter.)

Oh, and while I'm here: this is best game I've ever played. Anyone else thinking on that level?

maybe some of these will be addressed in the DLC that is coming but alll your points are valid and dont seem like they would take a huge amount of effort to input in the game.
