If Take-Two was smart, they would release a demo with the purchase of one of their other games... much like they did with the Halo 3 beta in Crackdown. More sales for them.

I don't think they have anything being released before GTA.

Like what? They don't have any other games coming out and all of the non-sports games that have come out for them are huge titles on their own so this actually wouldn't make much sense.

There is no need to release a demo, the name sells this game alone.

Yeah, this might be one game that could actually get away with charging people for a demo. There's really only downsides for them releasing a demo at this point (people possibly ripping on the framerate, graphics, etc.)

This game is and probably could be the only game ever - to be purchased with no demo, no other screenshots released and based on hype alone..... R* has such a track record for consistent and enjoyable gameplay, it is the one and only time us as gamers can seemingly be immersed in a game and not worry about slider tweaks, stat glitches, faulty gameplay animations that hinder gameplay etc.

That's what I love about GTA: it reminds me that we are all playing video games after all. Sometimes you gotta just stop worrying about realism and have FUN, which GTA does better than anyone. I can't freakin wait for this game.

MLB 2k8 was another product of the exclusive licesne which ends up ruining games. Oh, and this is Rockstar, making their most famous game... they won't disappoint.

New Radio Station Revealed

German magazines MAN!AC and GamePro have new previews of GTA IV in their latest (April) editions. Most of the information is old, but they did manage to reveal there is a radio station in the game called Beat 102.7, which is certainly new to us. Thanks to GTA-Xtreme.de for the info.
Perhaps this is one of the stations we will learn more about when Rockstar Games update the "Music" section of the official website on March 20th?

Portuguese magazine Bgamer is the latest magazine to preview Grand Theft Auto IV. Most of the information is already known, but there are one or two points worth mentioning:

• You can search "by photo" on the LCPD computer, using photos taken on your mobile phone.
• The other islands are blocked off initially due to a "terror threat".
• The magazine asked R* if there are any Portuguese communities in Liberty City. R* told them to drive to an area in North Alderney, and when they arrived there were various Portuguese flags and posters.
• When a car alarm is triggered, police units in the area will be aware of it.
• R* confirmed that car customization is not possible in GTA IV.
