As expected, GTA IV contains standard deathmatch modes, and the first game Rockstar fired up for us was “Team Deathmatch.” This mode can be played with up to 16 players in any configuration, which means anyone with a death wish may choose to go all Scarface on an army of 15 other gamers if they so desire. The host is able to customize the match in a number of ways -- turning police presence on or off, the density of pedestrians, weather conditions, whether or not it will be possible to use auto-aim, etc.

That is awesome. We should set up 15 OSers and destroy Dookie. Everyone just surrond him with RPGs and fire away.

Oh, and how funny is this?

...you decided to go on a virtual killing spree, taking out pedestrians and police with no regard for their digital lives. Now, with a six star wanted level you’ve got choppers, armored cars, and the proverbial kitchen sink trying to take you down.

So whats the plan guys, we jumping right on multiplayer from day one? Or are we gonna dive into the story and meet up later?

Man i just pictured something amazing...16 OSers cruising through "Time Square" just creating havoc and the peds. Im confident that we wont know how special and great this game is going to be until we have it in our hands.

With games I usually jump right online, with this one I am sure I will play single player a bit first.

Im afraid that i wont be able to get through half the story once i hit MP.
