I was lucky to see a couple of them though but I bet they'll get taken down too. I wonder if R* has a bunch of their interns working the internet beat and wiping out every gameplay video that's been leaked.

TT has a no marketing policy for their games...lol

With a game like GTA4, you know it's gonna sell big...why give out lots of info? It's not going to help you, in fact it'd hurt. You build up major hype with all the lack of press, as well as the fewer images and videos out there the less likely you get people bashing you. Best of both worlds, when it's a big game.

To be honest its to the benefit of the gamer.

This is one of the reasons I love Rockstar...they dont even want you ruining the experience for yourself.

They treat their products unlike any other video game company. They run it more like a movie studio...removing leaked clips and pictures and such.

I for one appreciate their effort not to let me ruin the game for myself...now thats dedication to your consumer.

Oh I know that, if they let every video go unchecked i'd probably break down and look at every one of them. So in a sense they're doing a Public Service for me.

Exactly, why leak info, we're going to buy it anyway, and the lack of it makes us look for it, and gets us more excited when someone finds info.

Like the soundtracks, we know like half of it from that Wiki page, but there's a ton missing.

except that it got out. That's why I hated their idea of giving the first couple of people to beat it a key to the city and all that special stuff. People will have 100% in this game even before the official release date.

Question for you dudes. I am thinking about buying the Deluxe Edition for resell purposes. Do you think if I buy it and sit on it for like 10 years I can get a lil bit of change?

It depends, Will it become the standard bearer for this generation? If so then you might get a pretty penny for it.

These things are always a little dicey.

Why? You already have dudes taking weeks off to stay home and play this game.
