1. how do I know? because the other reviews marvel about the level of detail. Because all of the previews said the detail was unprecedented.
2. I used one example instead of many...i've played (owned actually) those other games you mention, and they don't have the same level of detail found in one screenshot of gta4

why did you bother replying with that?
They even used the expression for the last sentence two paragraphs in a row. The UK reviewer isn't nearly as skilled a writer.

buddy you're just looking for an argument...unfortunately i'm not and don't have the time too. I never got bent out of shape, I was pointing out a common writting quirk that gets to me, but not as much as the buzz word 'sadly' does. have a nap or something man, it's just a post darlin'

I swear, if this game had a replay feature, I would be set for life!

that's why I thought Driv3r was so cool. I always thought the cars handled way better in that game too. It was smashed in reviews, but it was actually a good game. You could edit the replays and save them, chose thousands of camera angles and effects and zoom etc. it was really cool, especially for people into film

I see where problems could have arose including a replay system in a game like this but it would have been awesome. There is always GTA V.

A couple things after reading the latest posts

1. Regarding consoles...MS would be STUPID to go releasing a new console in 2010. They've barely scratched the surface of the potentiality of the X360. Why go rushing to build a console that developers would have to learn to exploit all over again when they're just NOW fully exploiting the X360's capabilities? At least Sony has it somewhat right if they're going to wait til 2014.

2. About the difference in graphics, honestly folks the game looks amazing from everything we've seen. Even if the difference was more noticeable it still wouldn't be that bad. This game has the best graphics i've seen considering the sheer size and detail of the game. Let's not get hung up over stupid little details.

Oh my....a perfect 10 from IGN?! I'm not all that into the GTA series, but that's hard to turn down...

And I'm not the type to go blindly off reviews anymore, but Ocarina was the last (only?) game I ever remember getting a 10 from them.

Developers should just cut the BS and stop appealing to the losers that don't have HDD, lol. Im sorry but I don't know anybody who has an Xbox 360 and not a HDD. I know people without Live but an HDD, nah. Just cut the BS and put hard drive required on the back of the box.

Oot and Soul Calibur are the only 10s...kinda.

They've given like, 25 10s to Gameboy Color games, but they only used whole numbers and .5s for those, and they just were really easy reviewers (every system on IGN has different reviewers).

Actually, I agree...

1. Why can't MS and Sony just stick with a console and let developers have time to tap into all of the consoles capabilities?? It really pisses me off. We start to get great great games let say on the Ps2 and xbox and they have new consoles come out. Which to me is fine. These 2 consoles no matter what one you have, Are capable of some amazing things... Look at GTA videos we have seen. It doesn't matter what console I have seen it played on, They both look amazing. R* really is the 1st company to take full advantage on these consoles or one of them...I really can't believe what I am seeing with this game. If all developers will take time to create great gameplay and have every game released to it's fullest potential, I am fine with the 360 and Sony consoles for a long long time.

2. Thanks to all that posted videos and streams. This game will own. May the lord be with us LOL!!!

That's a good point. It seems sometimes we want validation in which system we prefer. Just enjoy the game, it's a hit on both the 360 and PS3.

I'm sure there are people, and I don't think MS would do that.

They should allow the option for optional install in case people with HDD want it. I don't see why they can't say, Rockstar, if you want, put an optional install on the 360 version. Would have done wonders for Bioware.
