Can you just imagine what an nba, nfl or nhl game would be like if a company like R* took the time, effort, resources and commitment to excellence they use on a GTA game on a sports title?!

I can always dream......

We would see a great game but it would be 3-4 years between releases.

Here's a scene that I cut out of The 1UP Show (1up podcast). I was watching it last night before I went to sleep and it reminded me of a couple of guys in this thread lol.

IMO nba 2k8 is a great game. but i see the point u are trying to make. in that case, they would have to release games every 2 years instead of every year. i wish they would do that.

i think football would be the only sports game that u need to release every year!

I don't know if 7-11 sells GAMES; but I was told that a certain 7-11 (Branch Ave by Iverson Mall) in the DC Area is selling it.

I just got the 3 RROD...I unplugged the power supply for the minute and got it to boot back up, but it keeps freezing every time I try to play NHL 08. Thankfully I can get to CC tomorrow and "borrow" a unit while I wait for mine to get fixed. I'd rather this happen now then Tuesday or shortly there after.

commercial just ran on TV - caught the end of it though

I saw one, and it ended with a ps3 logo. I've yet to see signs of this huge "halo sized" MS marketing push for GTA. It's not on the 360 dashboard, and the two commercials I've seen on tv were hyping gamestop and ps3 with the game.

I would also like to know what this means...

They said you can go in at 6pm and pay for it so at 12:00 you can just walk out with it, so why not just ****ing give me the game when I pay for it at 6PM on Monday?

Seems kind of annoying with this street date garbage.

That's 6 hours in a gamestop. I'm sure people will go home and come back but still. Makes no sense. I guess they figure people will buy more crap if they are in the store.

I would imagine they would end up having a line specifically for people who have paid in full and those that havent, thus allowing you to get in and out quicker. Personally, if I wasnt using the Best Buy GC then I would go to Gamestop but unfortunatly I have to wait for Best Buy to get it in on Tuesday I presume.
