Yep it does, I believe it even saves after you do an activity with someone so that's pretty good.

there is some HEAVY racism in this game BTW.....I was almost taken aback by how blatant it is....woah there R*

but at the same time I love how they push the limits....I really don't think its like downright degrading and enough to really cause a fuss over but still enough to notice....and IMHO R* walks that fine line very well.

My only gripes with this game.

1. Good GOD its hard to read the text on that cellphone. Even on my 60" HDTV, I have to walk up to the TV to read any texts. A dark greenish background with dark text wasn't the best choice guys.


2. Only being able to save this game in one spot at a time is annoying as hell. Like a football game..it basically means that you should plan on spending AT LEAST an hour to complete a mission, etc. because you won't be able to save it unless a)you complete the mission b) you return to the safehouse.

Also...when retrying a mission..how about allowing a checkpoint or something instead of having to go aaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllll the way to the beginning of the mission and have to drive 200 miles back to the mission location.


Other than that..this game is insanely awesome.

Would that mission happen to be "Shadow"? I swear, I have to be on my 7th or 8th attempt on that friggin' mission. So tough.

I have probably spent $200 on cab rides so I wouldn't have to waste time driving to get back there.

This game is sooooooo good though. I love it and never played a GTA game before.

Stupid question but I figured I would make sure Im not forgetting an option. My girlfriend wants to play GTA, I have saves on there already, what is the best method to make sure she doesnt screw up my saves? I thought of transfering them to my thumb drive and then deleting them off the machine, that way whatever she does wont overwrite my game but at the same time thats going to be a huge hassle to have to do that every single time she wants to play after me or me after her. Is there an option that I might be missing here?

I know I can turn autosave off but thats not necessarily an option because I hate having to drive all over the map just to get to my safehouse and save. Im sure someone here smarter then I can lend an idea or two.

61.68% done with the game....the percentage seemed to fly by at first, but now it seems like its taking longer and longer to progress, lol

Um...wow.


So, I managed to hi-jack a Heli Tour Maverick and took it over the last island that I hadn't unlocked to get a 6 star wanted level. With cops chasing me, I managed to go under all the bridges and complete both achievements. For my final performance I decided to head over to the Statue of Happiness to see the easter egg. I manage to get close enough to jump out, but then the helicopter's blades smash into the side of the building, breaking off, and still rotating the next blade hits and kills me. Wow.

This is by far the best, I tried a few others but they werent nearly as detailed as this one. Keep in mind, this is only 1-70 and they say to check back on Tuesday to get the remaining 130, here is a link.....

You can click on the map to supersize it to make it easier to read and since its numbered its easy to jot down which ones you couldnt get so you can come back to it later, for instance there are a few that require either a boat or a sniper rifle and I have neither so Im going to come back for them.

they aren't as noticeable as the orbs in crackdown. Those were scattered around as well, but at least they made noise so you didn't have to have a detailed map plus pictures to find them.

Holy ****!!

The achievement for killing a Rockstar Developer is called "Let sleeping Rockstars Lie", well, if you kill one, on top of the achievement, you also get a new clothing outfit...as a zombie in Rocktar undies. LOL

is that a viral achievement? Like playing someone that got it gives it to you. There's been achievements in other games that do just that. I'm sure devs won't be playing this all the time, and even if they did, how fun would it be for everyone to only hunt you down for an achievement. They'll seed it on a special developer day or something soon, and it will spread.

So I'm on my 4th attempt of "The Snow Storm" and good lord...I can't get away from these friggin' cops!!!

The AI is insane on some of these chases...not only do the Cops blast away at you..but citizens decide to become the state militia and start popping away at you too.

On my 3rd attempt I went through FIVE get-away cars totaling 25 minutes of chase time....and I ended up getting gunned down in a burger shot trying to replenish the one millimeter of health I had left. I probably destroyed around 200,000 dollars worth of property, killed 30 cops and civillians and left a wake of destruction in my path...AND STILL DIDN'T BEAT THE DAMN MISSION!!!

Here goes try #4.

wow, I beat that mission on the first try.

I just used cover to tactically get in to the coke, then used the narrow hallway to the front door to herd cops to kill with a grenade to get out. I just ran for a car and drove around to lose my wanted level. It wasn't hard at all, I don't even think all of my body armor was spent. I actually had fun with it.

gotta make sure to use the radar to avoid passing police cars on the streets. In past GTA games, you could just randomly drive around hoping they crashed. In this game, they coordinate better and swarm on you from different directions, so you can't just drive around randomly. Gotta make sure you take the right streets to avoid passing them. Eventually you'll lose them enough to duck in a pay'n spray or dash for the end of their radius.
