Heh, the uploader of this video couldn't pick a worse song off the Bayonetta soundtrack to play as the background music than this one. Anyway, this is still a great demonstration as to what can be pulled off with practice and skill.

33 hours of playtime and 100% complete.

Jeanne fights were so tough. I just noticed it, but when you beat all the Alfheim portals, you unlock the lost chapter, which is like Bloody Palace in DMC (Survivor Mode).

I started halo farming even though I haven't finished easy yet. Kinda pointless with not getting as much but 600k for 12 minutes wasn't bad.

Jeanne fights were so tough. I just noticed it, but when you beat all the Alfheim portals, you unlock the lost chapter, which is like Bloody Palace in DMC (Survivor Mode).

Nice, yea I found Jeane the toughest of the bosses too.

OR buy the Light Saber and press the wreck shop button. Though it's not very profitable far as getting more halos or platinum goes as combos are non-exsistant.

Sessler's Soapbox: Bayonetta is a Pleasant Surprise

On to this week's subject. Bayonetta has been getting rave reviews from multiple gaming media outlets, and everyone seems to really enjoy it. Enter Adam Sessler who not only loved playing Bayonetta, but truly enjoyed every aspect of it. Not only is the combat frantic and fluid, but the art direction is beautiful, the characters are hilarious, and the story is reminiscent of a great, cheesy exploitation film. Hey, do you guys use the lock on when you fight?(RB i believe) It seems to slow down movement when used and it has to be held i believe. I end up not using it because i die when i do.

I do but I tend to hit RT twice when going to dodge so RB + A works better for me especially with the Light Saber because you really need to use dodge offset to use it properly and turning into a panther really doesn't help,it also makes the ->->Y move easier to do as it turns into ->Y.

PS3 loading times getting patched with optional install

Sega has responded to player complaints regarding at least one area of the PlayStation 3 version of Bayonetta: load times.

In Japan today, the company detailed an upcoming patch that will add a hard disk install option to the game. Once the patch is installed, players will find an "install" option on the main menu. Sega did not reveal how much space the game will take up.

Load times were one of the main areas of complaint with the PS3 version of the critically acclaimed Platinum Games action title. Players also took issue with some of the PS3 version's graphical shortcomings, but this patch appears to target just the loading.

In Japan, the update is set for January 28.

While Sega's announcement was just for Japan, we have a feeling players throughout the world can expect the update as well.

I rented this over the weekend and immediately ordered it, best action game i've played in years.

And did I read in this thread you can turn into a panther? Wow, this game is crazy! I got through the first 4 chapters with I think i read 11 more to go. Can't wait!
