Did you buy the Legacy Edition or the Deluxe Edition?

I'm with you. The GH2 x-plorer is my old reliable. Had it for almost a year and that sucker has never dropped a note, and I've logged a lot of hours on it. It's solid as a rock.

Why modify the strum bar? Too clicky? I guess that's my only complaint...it's the loudest guitar option. But if I was to go out and buy a new one, I'd go with the RB2 strat. I haven't really heard anyone complain about it other than the strum bar is silent, which is obviously a matter of personal preference (as I just said, the one I like is the loudest one).

I'm about ready to throw my PS3 GH3 Les Paul out the window. That thing is a piece of crap, it drops notes all of the time. The only reason I got it was it was on sale for $20 at Circuit City before they closed down.

I wish the RB2 guitars weren't so expensive.

That's something that happens sometimes with the detachable neck. You might have to do this..I tried it on a friend's guitar and it helped.

They do. The RB 1 guitars and the GH II guitars are wired and I think there's a few 3rd party ones out there too. I found the Xplorer to be quite uncomfortable but I often sit down to play.

As one of the few people who actually likes Chinese Democracy, I'll probably download some of these, but not the whole album. Definitely will get Madagascar and probably will get I.R.S. and Chinese Democracy.

Great... Instead of getting the rights for and releasing some classic G'n'R like from AfD, they go for this crap that isn't even really G'n'R in the first place.

Interesting. I'll check some of this out, as I'm one of the few who likes Chinese Democracy as well. I wasn't as exposed to the 'original' GnR though, outside of their greatest hits (e.g. Welcome To The Jungle, Paradise City, Sweet Child of Mine).

I never truly exposed myself to this album, but after hearing that they spent like years working on Shackler's Revenge and it came out as crap, I'm really hesitant to spend any breath even previewing some of these songs.

I remember back when I said something like: "I wish they would re-release a master version of Sweet Child of Mine. After all, GnR owes Harmonix after getting them to release the crap that is Shackler's Revenge." Well, now I stand by that statement so much more.

Let's hope that, someday, it happens.

When does that PSP game come out? I'm already ready to download Kryptonite whenever it comes out on consoles. Let's say the PSP version released today... would there be any chance that they put it up for download within the next six weeks following?

PSP version comes out June 9.

Have you guys who are hating on Chinese Democracy listened to any of the album or are you just basing it on Shackler's Revenge? I can see why fans of "classic" GnR might hate Shackler's, but there are songs on the album that I think sound like old school Guns, like Madagascar and IRS.
