It's a Sony game and I've actually played EQ,EQ2,SWG,etc there wasn't a lot of end game to begin with if any in those games. I don't have this game yet, but from what i've heard there is a decent amount and sounds pretty good to start with. No need to throw in a bunch of end game when I seriously doubt the lvl cap will stay at 30 for long.

I'm interested to see how an MMO plays on a PS3, is it fairly easy to use abilities, equip gear,etc all those things that are pretty simple to do on a PC?

IMO it's really easy to access everything you need and to change things up as you want.

Like bighoff say's, it is very easy to use. Nothing confusing in the interface at all really. I too played EQ a ton back in the day and this is nowhere near as complicated.

If you don't like using the controller to use your abilities (L2 or R2 + triangle, square, circle or X) you can actually use your keyboard with the game as well and I think the 1 - 8 buttons are used for your abilities.

I haven't done any chatting yet (still leveling up), but the controller is fine for me with abilities and all that. Just feels like a normal action type game, I really enjoy the change of pace from all the buttons you can use in WoW and others.

SOE has been hyping a classic character playing a large role in this batch of content, and it turns out it's Catwoman. Selina Kyle is going to factor into a few new parts to DCUO.
Level 30 Catwoman Episode: Here, your character will race to Gotham Museum and find Catwoman robbing the joint. Then, some ancient Egyptian artifacts turn people into lions and tigers that you have to fight. Look for five boss battles in this mission.
Legends PVP: Catwoman will now be playable in "Play as Iconic" PVP.
Multiplayer Race: Chase Catwoman with your friends.
New Loot: You'll now be able to collect the "ancient Mayan Armor" and "Cat Burglar" gear.
Valentine's Day Content


Uh, yeah, this is happening.
Believe it or not, February is for lovers -- and now, DCUO is, too. In a rather interesting move, the Goddess of Love is pissed and has put down fountains across Metropolis. Enter one of these, and you'll be transported to a 100-person instance where you'll play as a cherub and battle "to determine the true meaning of love."
Collectable Hearts: Completing races, participating in PVP and other actions will earn you hearts that you can use to purchase chocolates and gifts to give to other players.
PVP Battles: Dunk the other team into the fountain.
Love Alert: This is a four-player boss fight against the Goddess of Love, Devotion and Scorn.
Loot: There's a new harlequin clown suit with hearts and a cherub disguise to earn.
Mock the Boss: When you replay boss fights, you'll be able to give them "be mine" cards for Feat points.

New Duo: A two-player Bane duo will be available for players.
PVP Expansion: There will be a new Gotham PVP zone.
New Tier 2 Raid: There's a new eight-player raid zone for the Batcave. You'll fight alongside Batman against Brainiac and Brother Eye.
Buy and Sell: Auction houses will go live in the Watchtower and the Hall of Doom so that places can swap gear on a massive scale.
Additions: New collections, races and investigations will be added.

Uhmm well that's different for the Valentines day thing, sounds more entertaining then usual stuff they do in others tho.

Besides that tho I like the new stuff, SOE has a bad habit of not giving new stuff like they promised very often besides in Xpacs but if they truely do this every month i'd be fine with the $15 a month. Hopefully pick it up when I get paid Friday, gotta have the extra $$ for gas right now lol

Only the first 30 days are free. Then after that, like most other MMO's there is a subscription fee of $15 a month to play.

Yea that is pretty lame they have to make your pay a separate game fee just for online IMO.If I had a job it wouldn't be bad but ya.How good is this game for a none MMO fan ?But I would love to get into because its the DC world .
