Well that's disappointing, haven't finished downloading update. Bugs happen but I think they tried to hard to fix some previous bugs instead of making sure new stuff works. It'll get fixed soon I'm sure, can't let big bugs like that last.

Good lesson for next monthly update

they scaled might it to be .45% per point at level 30 opposed to .35% and some skills have might replaced with defense and toughness like Martial Arts so they raised might by .10% but took it away from some skills sets to have more defense in the game.

        Huh? Wha?

I know what might does but what exactly did they do with this stat? Also something about innate iconic powers in regards to might?

        In layman terms please.

On another but disappointing note, I put up a rifle that was blue (Obsidian Shotgun) for 9k (it was above 69.1dps something like high 70's low 80's) in the auction house and it disappeared! Went back into my inventory to look for it... nothing. Went to the bank... nothing as well *sigh*

I used the /bug report and explained to them what happened. Lets see what their response is.

Basically they changed some of the weapon skills that gave might a bonus to give defense and toughness instead. So a person who put points into that skill that gives +10 to might per point now gets +10 to defense and toughness so you lose the +30 points to might (if you put 3 points into that skill) and gain +30 to defense and toughness. Doing this though has made players lose might but they also scaled the amount of dps might gives per point which used to be .35% at level 30 but now it's .45% I really hope this makes some sense lol.

            Yea it does bro, thanks.

I also read up a few more explanations on it over at the official DCUO forums.

            Thanks again.

I started the Valentines stuff but it seemed crappy to me. I had a quest to collect hearts in the air from jumping on these "jump pads" but no one could seemingly get the hearts to register as being collected. I think some people on chat could, but it was sooo tough and not fun at all. I just went and ran an alert instead.

So is the game easy to get into if I was to get it now? I'm not sure what all the online interactions are like in the game, but if I was to get the game now, would I be at a big disadvantage up against those that have been playing the game for over a month now?

Not tough at all. Honestly I've just been soloing and doing group alerts (that you can randomly queue into) and haven't had a lot of communication.

SOE is working on getting communication easier, but the game is a lot of fun playing solo and not really having to worry about that type of stuff.

I just play a few hours total over all weeknights and then maybe a bit more on weekends if I have time and I'm still having fun. I don't think you'll have a problem picking it up, it's definitely more action based (with combos and whatnot) compared to WoW and other MMORPG's.

Makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.

I'm a little less disappointed now but there seems to be a problem with distinction and triumph.

Got around to the Cat woman mission, not bad. A solid start. Also like that they put Killer Croc and Deathstroke in the Bane duo.

Crazy that you have to fight Croc and Deathstroke at the same time in the Bane duo!

That ending mission is kind of a pain, you can always leave mid mission go back to the station and repair your gear then quickly go fly back inside. I really don't know how I passed that thing at only level 27 and solo (never got someone to help me). But I did get Aquaman's belt and a nice chest out of it.

Altimus, I have a question for you.

I already did just about every mission that was available before 30 but I had one left that for whatever reason I never got around to. It is the level 29 Brother Eye mission. The underground OMAC base one.

Now it was familiar to me because I have done the kind of hard OMAC duo before. I tried to do this thing solo since it is only rated a level 29 mission. Damn it's hard! I even have some real good gear and a 77.9 dps weapon but I can't for the life of me do this damn thing! Did you do it solo? If so how did you do it?

I want to do it alone because I had previously done all of my pre 30 missions solo and don't want to change it on this last one I have. Hell, the saving Superman mission was cake compared to this and that was a level 30 mission.
