Re: DC Universe Online (PS3)
If you like MMOs and Superheros this would be a game to try. The fighting is sweet and the customization is awesome. The world is fairly big and the PvP is sweet except for high level people constantly ganking low level people or just hanging out by lower mission areas and jacking everyone they see.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Yeah seems like something i'd like to try, but idk if I want to drop $50 on it right now. Might just play the wait and see tactic, see what changes in the game, etc.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: DC Universe Online (PS3)
I am very hooked. Yesterday afternoon I ended up grouping with 2 guys. One guy was a lvl 30 (CRIMSON BLADE) & the other guy was 18 like me at the time (Fireshrike).
This is what MMO's are about people, all 3 of us had voice chat working perfectly in our group. I had recruited them through shouting for others to group with because I had 3 Alerts that I can do on my mission list. These 2 guys responded so I invited them both.
The 3 Alerts I have/had are Gorilla Isle, Hive & Oolong. I told them I wanted to do them in order so I queued up Gorilla isle. We decided to fly around and fight random mobs while waiting for our alert to start (waited only like 6 min or so).
Went over to the area near midtown Metropolis where the Sinestro Corps is fighting the Green Lantern Corps. Anyways, to cut it short I ended up making good friends with the guy who played Fireshrike. Very cool dude & we had a lot in common.
Things like being mic'd up with someone in your group for a few hours on end just running around talking about random things (not necessarily always game related) and using teamwork to bring down bigger foes and get item drops & experience is what makes an MMO genre game so fun.
The only reason I even logged off (I could have easily played all day yesterday grouped with that dude) was because my GF & my daughter wanted to play damn LBP2!Comment

If you go to the account management for your PSN account there's a place for billing information that you can enter a credit card...I hadn't entered one yet, but just did so I can keep playing.
You may want to search the DC Universe Online forums to see if you can buy PSN points instead

Re: DC Universe Online (PS3)
Dumb question.
When you pick up an article of clothing that increases your stats for doing a mission or something, do you have to keep that article of clothing on to earn the stat increase? Or can you switch it out with something under the Style tab and still keep the stat increase?
I hope that makes sense.Comment

Re: DC Universe Online (PS3)
BTW, can more than one person play online with the PS3 version. Or will both people need a different code? I'm thinking about picking this up myself.Comment
