The friends list allows you to obviously see who is online and who isn't. But yes it is there for grouping and what not.
Ok cool. I just added a few people a couple days ago so I haven't used that friends list much but when I do it has been all glitchy. I'm really interested in teaming up with people and getting in a good group because I want to make the most of this game, but I feel like I need to get to level 30 first, do you agree? I don't want to feel like a burden on some groups. Also I just have the regular gear and stuff you pick up as you progress through the solo missions, I haven't bought anything from vendors or got these special armor things. So would you agree that I need to just keep going through the solo stuff first and then look to team up? I tried to do a PvP Legends match and got my butt handed to me, lol. Obviously I either only know how to fight AI or those I was matched up against were really overpowered compared to me.

I completed all the collections (blue orbs) from Ace Chemicals and got a mark of triumph as my reward as an attachment in the email. When I opened it, all my marks of triumph reset to 0. Fortunately when I relogged I got my marks back but still lost the one I earned. Can't believe they didn't fix this yet!

Having a league to help you that is large is nice as well. For instance I was doing nothing in particular earlier this morning and a few regulars in my league were asking in league chat if anyone needed help with anything.

I responded that I could always use a few marks if they (or him at the time) were not busy. He joined up with me and ran a couple of duos. We then later got a few more people and ran Smallville.

They are pretty good about things like that, in fact if any of you need help with more end game things (many of which I've yet to experience myself). I have no problem inviting you into the league I'm in.

This is of course if nothing on a larger scale is ever to be done with the current OS league. If any of you want in, no problem. Just let me know in game or on here and I'll invite you.

          Good gaming guys.
We may want to just all join the league you're in, if it's a good one...

I don't think our league is ever going to be massive here, and that might help everyone find good people to run alerts and whatnot with...

Just my thought. Not knocking our league, we just don't have enough DCUO fans on here to really have a big one.

A shame I'm not on the same server as you guys. Perhaps we'll get lucky and they'll combine some servers someday.

I agree as well, this is the only reason I went with this league. There are two leagues I run with when I'm on. The one I'm in was started up by a couple of guys in their early 30's that mostly all seem to live in Missouri. The other league, I have done a few HA's with (Hard Alerts) are also a bunch of great guys in their early 30's as well.

Both leagues have recently started raiding (I've yet to join them in any of that because of my gear, but I'm getting there slowly but surely).

If you ever want an invite send me a /tell in game and I'll invite you. Our league leader is named Uriel and the league is called The Zeros. A couple of Uriel's buddys who started the league with him I think are Jagan & Malpractise. They are very cool guys.

              Again, just let me know.

This is game is so tempting on my new PS3 but I don't want to pay $15 a month to 2 MMO's when I'm trying to cut myself off from the other already.

Well to be fair, if your other one was WoW this game is way more pick up and play anytime for however you want friendly than WoW.

It's just tempting to play a different style. Not sure I totally love the healing one, but it is fun. I do need to try and get good gear for my main though, right now I have nothing quality I think.

I agree. This game is perfect for me and my hour or two long gaming spurts, whereas I'd feel compelled to play WoW for hours. I also feel the combat keeps me a bit more engaged with combos and whatnot. A bit more action.

I enjoy WoW (just not playing right now, got a little burned out after 2 months of hitting it hard). This is a fun alternative for sure, plus I like that it's on a console with a controller. Can't imagine doing all these combos with mouse clicks on a PC lol

Oh boy some of the people in this game...

I get matched with some guy on the OMAC duo and he ends up doing only 12K damage compared to my 71K. He doesn't help throw those rocks at the mid boss and to top it of he needs every item.

Just in case anyone was wondering today why they can't log on.

Wow, that's weird! Usually companies do this down time starting around 10-midnight pacific time and end around 7ish pacific so the least amount of people are affected.

Kinda glad it's today though, I have a meeting after work and won't be home until after this window to set up my new headset and play lol
