Love this game, just hit lvl 30. Main issue is I can't play during peak hours. After a long queue it always times me out.

Re: DC Universe Online (PS3/PC)
I didn't realise there was a difference tween mentors (tank/controller/healer). I chose Superman - who is defense (tank). I'm lvl 30 and the missions are tough, but my playing style and character build don't fit. With 2000 health, 1350 power I play a melee style, but my toughness seems low and my defense is 900. Maybe I'll need to focus on defense & toughness more when I buy the new lvl 30 armor.Comment

Re: DC Universe Online (PS3/PC)
Played this again last night for the first time in a couple months. It was nice to see they are still updating it with new missions and the like. Christmas decorations all over the city. Pretty cool.
If anyone hasn't tried it I would say well worth a shot for FREE on PSN.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013

Re: DC Universe Online (PS3/PC)
Sorry to bring back an old thread but I saw that there is an Ultimate pack for $30 on the PS Network and was wondering it anyone was playing this game?
I played it when it went free but since I have a launch Fatty 60GB I had to delete it to make room for other games."In a year that has been so improbable, the impossible has happened." - Vin Scully

Re: DC Universe Online (PS3/PC)
Funny that this got bumped. I've had the disc for a couple of years, but after installing and trying it for a few minutes, I shelved it.
Just the other day, I re-installed it and dove in. I had an itch for an MMO for some reason or another. Anyways, the game hooked me pretty quick. Up to level 10ish with my hero. I love that there is actual combat, not the click and watch type of combat in games like WoW.
While i'll never get back into an MMO like I did a few years ago with WoW, it's something fun to fall back on when i'm bored with my current lineup of games. I'll probably stick with this for a while, but when some of the AAA games start rolling out, it will probably be back on the shelf for a while.Comment

Own it for PS3...but its also F2P on PC. Apparently a lot of the new content is pretty damn good.

Re: DC Universe Online (PS3/PC)
I still have the game but haven't played in forever, funny to see this thread again. The majority of OSers playing this on console didn't play for very long or very often. They were mainly less than casual.
Pretty sure if I logged on my character would still be pretty bad *** even by today's standards. Looked at my older posts in this thread and yep... not going back.
I was way too addicted to playing this with my League, I'll stay away.Comment

Re: DC Universe Online (PS3/PC)
Another bump after 3 years. lol. Besides being released on to Xbox a while back, it seems like they are going to make huge changes to the game. Like redoing stats & making all powers available instead of being purchased points, etc. Almost like DC Universe Reborn. I haven't played in about a year myself but I do find the changes interesting enough that I would like to try it out.
Here is more info:
