I love Halo 3 and still play it extensively.

What sort of additions would you all like to see?
(I know some people wish it were more realistic, but it's
based on a fictional future era so the way it plays seems fine to me)

This news comes from sarcasticgamer.com. They're famous for making many false claims.

If Halo 4 was to be shown at E3 it would have leaked everywhere by now. Plus the MS E3 guide has been leaked and no where did it mention Halo 4.

Halo 4 might come, just not E3.

After Halo 2 and 3.......I don't need a Halo 4.

The squad based game would be really cool. I little Ghost Recon, little Gears style. That could be pretty awesome, I hope that rumors true.

i think that's just business 1. no need to go into the hundreds :wink:

as much as i enjoyed playing the first 2 halo's, the 3rd one just doesn't do it for me. it's the same graphics with a slightly bigger halo world. i'm still working on single player mainly b/c i only play for 20-30 minutes at a time before getting bored. GoW and CoD4 I still play the single player mode even though I've beaten both of them on the 2nd hardest difficulties (ain't no way i'm beating either on their hardest).

I'd say Gears of War isn't too bad on Insanity, assuming you're playing with another person instead of the brain dead AI.

Any company would keep rolling out games to keep the phenomenon going. For all the hype and media GTA 4 got about its first day and first week sales, it still has nearly half the total sales of Halo 3, and it sold on two consoles.

I'd love to see them expand on the Halo franchise with different types of games. A squad based game is different enough to keep the franchise fresh, pull in people who might not like FPS games, and keep the fans coming back.

I would be happy if they simply made a multiplayer only Halo game which included all the current maps (all 3 games) plus some new ones with, of course, downloadable maps from time to time.

well, whatever it is, I doubt it's a new Halo game. It appears to me to be an entirely new project that's been developed completely in-house by Bungie before the split.

Although i've played it a bunch of times when it first came out and lost a social life because of it, nowadays it's just picking up mad dust. Am I the only guy on this forum that felt the same way when i played it thoroughly? "Like, what was all the hype about?" The campaign was too short, and the maps on multiplayer never really impressed me. I still wonder how IGN gave this game a 9.5, there's nothing really groundbreaking about the game in my eyes. I'd honestly rather play COD 4, and a lot of my friends on live feel the same way.

In regards to halo 4, there is no question that bungie would be working on something because master chief goes to another planet in the end (many of you probably know). It's most likely going to be called Marathon or something related to the inventors of the Ark.
