That was the best..........I would love for everyone to go out and buy this game based on his comments. No way it would outsell Madden.

I have always bought all the Wolfenstein's and have been a fan, but the lack of actual single player and multi video previews does stink. The last game on the XBOX was great and the amount of media that one had was insane since the PC the year before was getting a lot of attention.

having played through the first single player mission, it seems pretty run of the mill FPS so far. nothing special, but i wasn't expecting anything more from single player anyway.

From playing for about three hours so far, I would say that it plays a lot like COD WAW. I havent tried the online yet, but imo single player is very solid.

anyways IGN gave it a 7.3 if u care said basically its good but nothing revolutionary

i think ima pass with halo odst coming out next month.

I rented it. I got to the part with the veil. After passing through the door I turned the veil off and died. It THEN told me that's what happens if you turn the veil off. You tell people that stuff BEFORE they do it. It the gave the option to quit or load the last checkpoint. The last checkpoint was the start of the level. Then I turned the game off and took it out. Not sure if it'll be going back in. Also the character in the 2nd level that was supposed to be showing me where to go died so that was kinda bad.

If you loved Wolfenstein on the Xbox, you'll love this game. They kept the same look and feel as the previous Wolfenstein, which I appreciated. Overall the game seems a bit easier than the previous game, plus you're given easier access to ammo/grenade supplies. But I'm still near the beginning of the game, so that might change.

what difficulty were you playing it on? I died at that same exact spot too, but my checkpoint was right before you had to clear out the room.

It's a decent game. The graphics are nice considering it's running off such an old engine, and the atmosphere is pretty good. It really rushed itself into the paranormal story aspect though, they could have built up to that better. I also feel like the guns are too crappy, but you do have to upgrade them. I got 200/200 in the XBLA Wolfenstein 3d game, so it gave me an extra $1,000 in this game for upgrades.

well mine was a level below the hardest. I usually do that to get used to a game too, unless it something standard like Call of Duty.

I wonder how many people will die at that doorway though. What a horrible way to explain the powers.

I haven't tried the multiplayer, but it was outsourced to a different developer and I hear it sucks pretty bad. At least the PC owners will be able to mod it into something good, but it was a lazy tack on feature for the console game.

But the single player picks up nicely after a few levels. Some well done atmosphere and Bioshock like moments.
