The single player isn't why I like it so much. Infiltration has got to be one of the best modes in a video game. If I could get all my buddies to transfer to this game I would never stop playing it. So far I and one other friend own it. I need to get my remaining friends to come over. They like the older Ghost Recons, so they should at least be willing to try this out.

I told them its basically like a first person Ghost Recon 2, but just even better.
The original ghost recons were the best. I did a bunch of weapon and realism mods back in the day for these.

I am a firm believer that the GRAW series ruined Ghost recon and what it was. It was at the time one of the best FPS games for PC.

I would have played the first GR's if they had the weapon shown. I just CAN'T play FPS games where I don't see the weapon. Just can't

This is completely off topic, but everytime I see 'Flashpoint', I think of the old Sega Genesis game 'Flashback'. I LOVED that game. It was one of the first titles to use 30 fps character animations, which led to extremely fluid running, jumping, and fighting animations. Anyone else old enough to remember it?

I'm not too big a CoD fan so I would easily say this blows it away, but they aren't too similar games. CoD is an arcade shooter while this is a more simulation game. And I always prefer simulation over arcade in any game. I guess that explains why I think GTA IV is the best GTA yet.

                  Re: E3 - Operation Flashpoint2 - hardcore fps

Well played it last night. I heard how they made it more FPS like and less real world sim. But I honestly was not expecting that much of a difference between old flash point and this new one.

WOW talk about huge step backwards. It is COD with huge maps, more weapons, vehicles, and a better ballistic system. But it is far from the combat simulator ARMA 2 is.

Canes if you enjoy combat simulators and like Flash point. I HIGHLY suggest you get ARMA 2 and the expansion. Flash point is decent but it won't hold my attention long. It is not even a close race between Flash Point and ARMA 2.

I would get ARMA II, but I am not too big a PC gamer. I struggle to play games without anyone to talk to. I am always in a party with my 360 for that reason. I don't know what it is lol. I do have the ARMA II demo though and I do like it, but there isn't much to the demo. I just like to play these kind of games online with friends, not much a single player guy with these.

I did see where 505 Games, the guys from Backbreaker, are working on getting an ARMA II out for the consoles, but I don't know if that will come through or not.

I agree man. I am a 99% online only player. I am always looking for guys with ARMA 2 to play online with. I know Xavier is getting it in couple weeks so that is one guy I will play online with from OS. Join the party

I just tried the demo today and it ran horribly. I forgot my Graphics card burnt out and I am using a stock one for now. So until I get a new card no gaming on PC for me.

$104 - Geforce 9800 GT. Good price for a card that will run every game out there on high resolutions. Can't beat that price. 1052 5-star reviews

I run a XFX 9800 GT card. This is not the exacte model but similar. I like the low profile and XFX I always buy for all my video equpiment.

The card I just had burn out was an XFX 8800. Great card. I could play all my games outside GTA IV on the highest settings. That includes both Crysis games too.

I might buy a new card soon. I am kind of interested in PC gaming again, but that might change in 4 days when NCAA 11 drops.

Yea the 8800 was a decent card. The 9800 GT is a good bit better. You can run higher res plus higher graphics settings. I can run Farcry 2 maxed out with 1400x900 res and it runs smooth. I would not say 60 fps but high enough I don't see fps issues.

I play on all 3 systems. PS3, 360 and PC. I play certain games on each. 360 is all my online games, PS3 my single player games, and my PC is my shooters and RTS games.

Lately I been playing Left 4 Dead 2, ARMA 2, Bad Company 2, Flashpoint 2, and a little Zeno Clash on my PC. I tend to play mostly on my 360 or PC. Certain games are better for PC is why.

Just bought this for 360. Me and a buddy were looking for a good co-op game to try until NCAA comes out in July. Gonna play it tonight hopefully.
