That is a tough question. I have Uncharted 2, which I'm almost finished, and Brutal Legend, about half way through, and I will be playing Borderlands instead of those for a couple of days. I do have 4 other friends that will be playing though.

I think if you have friends to play with yes, if not, then wait.

I loved the intro. From what very little I played I quite enjoyed it. Other than the lack of a 3rd person cam the big complaint is having to actually pick up the ammo. You can't just walk over it,have to point at it and press X. There was no difficulty select and headshots don't seem to be a 100% kill thing. I also wasn't sure if the game actually saved or not.

I'm guessing they have the press X to pick up items so you don't pick up everything you walk over and can leave stuff for your teammates.

I read you could hold X to pick up all the ammo and money near you. Or hold X when looking at a weapon to equip it immediately.

just got it i traded in odst and cash for it

so far the graphics look nice but i have no clue what the hell is going on i just keep shooting stuff and i guess i cant cover myself that good because i die.

this game reminds me of fallout so much

I picked my PS3 copy up at futureshop in canada for $39.99. The clerk said the sale was one day only. I put the game in for a moment and played just a little and looks like it will be alot of fun once I grasp the controls and explore a bit. I love the look of the game sorta of a comic book mixed with cell shading.

From my limited time so far with Borderlands (yankee game on) it is a fun game. And whats even funnier is just like the reviews I have no idea what the story is. I'm level 5 or 6 right now and am just going from mission to mission killing and finding stuff....

So far it's just simple fun.

lol Im a level 22 and I have no clue what the story is besides the fact that were searching for a vault. This is one thread the spoiler alerts need not exist.

but, seriously I love this game. Its like you threw the RPG elements of Diablo, The graphics of Crackdown, the Setting of Red Faction, and the shooting of Call of duty in bed and this would be the love child

Here's what I did. I ran into the little area he was in, and to the right you'll see a ramp that leads up to a walkway, you follow that around a little mountain and you should be able to get into a position where you can get some critical shots on him and eventually kill him, without him being able to shoot you.
